How many current accounts?

Believe me if there was an easy way to get my money and close the account I would have done it last year!
The account has little money (2 figures)no DDs &my SO into it was £3 a week.
Too little activity and too little money when it comes to switching bonuses.
Plus its faulty and one of those faults is the balance.
Either the switch would fail due to technical problems or Post Office Money will chase me in the future to pay them back.
I need to go through the proper channels to close the account, get my cash out and end forever my association with Post Office Money.0 -

The account has little money in, no DDS etc &my SO into it was £3 a week.
Easy solution. Set up DDs and put some money in. For £150 surely it's worth a little effort?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

Probably, yes.
What benefits do any Natwest accounts offer exactly? I'm not aware they pay any interest or have any switching bonus?
I think most people here are wanting to get both and Natwest have neither - in addition they seem to be the bank with the least reliability which is one of my reasons to have different accountsRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
The account is faulty in numerous areas..... washed my hands of it last November and stopped what little activity there was. Still trying to get it sorted, closed and my cash out.
Can't afford any more of my money to be trapped and anyway I doubt a DD would be successful. Everything else about the account is fault ridden.
Lesson learned don't touch anything from Post Office Money run by Bank of Ireland. PoM don't care their name is attached to such shoddy service and BoI are incompetent. They admitted to stuffing up when the account was opened and i suspect the current issues (which they are in no hurry to fix), are related to that. I've had Customer Service agents asking me what to do because they don't know, exact words!0 -
If that PO account is "faulty" and you have so much trouble with it, should you go to the FOS?
Interesting that you say you have nothing but problems with POM/BoI - that seems to be a theme with their savings accounts, too.0 -
I'm going to don't be in any doubt.
To complain to the FOS you first have to complain to the bank. The bank are allowed 8 weeks to reply. If they can't sort the issues or I'm unhappy with the reply, i can then go to the FOS.
A couple of weeks and I can do so. Still awaiting their reply.
Even in the unlikely event PoM fix my account before the 8 weeks are up, I'm still complaining because the service simply hasn't been good enough.0
