    Just for interest you might like to read the thread below. the OP in that case is a landlord, convinced that the scheme arbitrators are biased in favout of tenants.......

    I somehow suspect that everybody who loses an appeal thinks the system is biased against "their side".

    To me it is clear that the system is corrupt and the sad thing is that you cannot really go to the court.

    I received a response from a so-called independent person who reviewed the case, agreed there were major omissions with the decision, yet upheld the decision
    Did they say why they upheld the decision despite agreeing to major omissions? I am guessing because they considered that even taking these into consideration, the conclusions reached would remain the same?
  • Hi - Did you go to the court at the end?

    I am in the same position and I prefer to go to court directly as I feel that the letting agent should pay compensation for making me spend time and energy in unreasonable deductions.

    Via court I will ask 3 times the deposit! Hope all went well with your case.
