Stupid question of the day - heating broken down - kitty OK?

Don't laugh.
Our boiler broke down on Tuesday evening. We've had no heating for 36 hours and the house is now COLD. We borrowed a couple of electric convector heaters last night to heat the lounge and our bedroom a bit, but we don't want to leave those on while we're out at work.
Now, I *know* kitties go outside in winter and are just fine. But do I need to worry about kitty with the house being cold pretty much all day (bit of heat in a couple of rooms for a few hours in the evening)?
I should add - we're in the south of England so it's not sub-zero. Few degrees above outside and slightly higher inside.
Kitty seems absolutely fine of course. :rotfl:

As long as the cat is an adult and not a hairless breed they will be find, if cold cats are very good at finding the warmest spot in the house.0

If they are cold you'll find them under the blanket keeping themselves warm or curled up on a sofa around some cushions.:footie:

Thanks! He's adult (3 years) and a short-haired moggy, so not hairless.
I like the hot water bottle idea - will do that this evening.
He did sleep in the lounge last night which is unusual for him - but it was the room that had had a heater in it during the evening. He's smarter than he looks. :rotfl:
Here's a photo as a thank you for the reassurance - I know you lot love them.0 -

Good point - he is a kneader. Will clip his claws again before giving it to him, and double-wrap the blanket around it. We're home tonight so can keep an eye. Thanks again!0 -

Ahh what a cutie!
My dog loves hot water bottles - she steals mine if I get up off the sofa to make a cuppa!
