Excellent news for your friend, Camelot.:T
Csarina I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, hun.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Thinking of you tomorrow Csarina and also Lamewolf - I cried the minute I got into the assessment place but I did ok with PIP so hope the same for you xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
MOLLY, MOLLY it's so nice to see you posting again, hope that your health has not been causing you too much of a problem and that the puppy dogs are both well. Walking Cookie has been so good for us and we're enjoying life again, still miss the lad but it's amazing to be able to go walking at the routine time every day. How's Little Miss Molly getting on at uni now, hope all is going well, she's second year now isn't she?. Oh my goodness seeing your name up there has made me very happy, Lyn xxx.0

Good to see you Molly. My appointment has been changed to 19th because Mr LW couldn't get time off tomorrow to take me, and I can't leave the house without assistance. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

LW - Im just having a quick skim through ,I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this previously but have you asked for a home assessment ? my daughter is unable to cope either anxiety or mobility wise with formal assessments . Since she was granted dla 15 years ago we have always asked for a home visit . She was reassessed for esa in october and we included masses of medical history and a full list of her 12 meds from our gp . She recieved a letter 3 weeks later confirming renewal of her award and still in the support group . We have always done this and she has never had to have a face to face assessment or home visit . Sorry if you have already tried to get a home visit but thought it worth posting just in case . Wishing you good luck .It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.0 -
Csarina just a quick note to say I hope tomorrow goes as well as these things can. Will be thinking of you

Evening all,
Cranky.....its lovely to see you posting again, stay with us. Thanks for your concern about our safety from the floods. We are high enough not to be in danger thankfully....if I remember correctly your sister lives in Cork, where flooding has been widespread, with no end in sight of the rain, my eldest son lives in West Cork and had some scary drives to work.
Csarina.... there is nothing I can say to help you for tomorrow, but will be thinking of you and sending my support through the ether.
Dumpling, glad that your appointment was helpful.
Mollie.....lovely to see you.
Ruby.....stay strong, thinking of you.
Judi.....potty training....I remember it well!
Gers....so jealous of your sight of a red squirrel.....the only ones I have seen are the two stuffed ones that my father shot with a single shot before I was born, so more than 70 years ago! It was a spur of the moment thing as he regretted it for the rest of his life.
LW.....I feel for you and your postponed appointment, try to put it out of your mind as much as possible.
TA......how are your old fashioned remedies working?
At some stage before Christmas OH bought abought 3kgs of rashers and I put about half of them in the freezer and forgot all about them, so today we had some of them with black pudding, fried potatoes, onions , baked beans and fried egg......not exactly what one would call the healthiest dinner ever, but did I ever enjoy it!
Went to visit the twins today, they are certainly improving all the time, no idea who they resemble, always difficult to decide until they have teeth and more hair. Did some shopping on the way home so now have lots of fresh vegetables to eke out the protein I have in the freezer.
Stay safe and well and sleep well

Hi MARIE - I am persevering with the arrowroot and the poisonous stuff that is the wild oregano. I finished the anti b course on Monday and straightaway replaced it with the herbal stuff. So far so good but only time will tell if they are actually working! I have tried so many herbal remedies that haven't worked, so I am not counting my chickens just yet!
Just wanted to offer CSARINA a bit of over the wires support for tomorrow. I hope it goes as well as a funeral can do and there is no more agro from the young madam.
Glad the interview went well DUMPLING. FHR - welcome aboard the good ship OS! Nice to meet you! CAMELOT pleased you have had good news about your friend. JUDI - don't envy you! I've had to help potty train all 3 DGDs when we have been minding them, it takes a lot of patience!
I've had a busy day doing all sorts of this and that and going here, there and everywhere, and now feeling very weary. It will be an early night for me I think. Night all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

Dumpling good to hear that your appointment went well, and that you are at least in the system.
