OP, as Wealdroam sugguested in post 16, as Console Doctor are refusing to accept responsibility, your next step should be a letter before action. Even if you don't plan to take it further for the price of a first class stamp (ask for the free proof of postage receipt at the postoffice) it is worth seeing if the letter makes them take action.

Dear Sirs,

Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (as amended)

I refer to my previous discussions in regard to the fact you sent me collect+ labels and details of my local collect+ point to post off my headphones model .... to your orgainisation for repair. I used the labels you provided to send the headphones off from collect+ .(address).on (date) and received a receipt. I now understand that your agent has not delivered my headphones to you. As you are aware the package containing my headphones became your responsibility once it was handed over to your agent.

I look forward to receiving either my orginal headphones or payment for the said headphones in the amount of ..... (please see estimate for replacement) within the next 14 days, failing which I give you notice of my intention to commence legal proceedings in my local County Court without further notice

If it is necessary to pursue this course of action, please note I will also pursue incidental
costs on top of the orginal costs .
