Collect+ No one can claim my parcel help.

OP did you get a receipt of any kind when handing the parcel over?
Or have you tried contacting the collect+ point and seeing whether they keep records? Mines usually scans parcels so must be a database of some kind.
All you need to do is prove you handed it to CD's agent (assuming console doctor are the one who picked & paid for the delivery service). Once you handed it to their agent, it became their liability. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
No I don't have accounts from either of theseShop Direct are the company that owns Very and Littlewoods. OP, have you purchased something from these and accidentally used their returns labels by mistake?
I do have a Collect+ Receipt that proves I posted the parcel but it was handed over to a Collect+ store not console doctor. Console Doctor say they can't claim as it wasn't sent to them. Shop Direct can't claim as I am not their customer. Collect+ needs Shop Direct to claim as it's their label. I've contacted Citizen's Advice to see what to do. It seems a little petty for some headphones but I'm just so angry and disappointed it's gone this far, shouldn't the fact that my parcel has been lost mean someone should be aloud to claim. Red Tape everywhere.unholyangel wrote: »OP did you get a receipt of any kind when handing the parcel over?

I fail to see how Console doctor would of issued a Shop direct label, It sounds like a label transfer and there is another parcel floating around without on?0

OP does the receipt state any reference number/tracking number?
Do the details on the receipt correspond to shop direct or console doctor? Are console doctor able to provide the correct reference for the label they sent out?
As above, i'm wondering if perhaps a label has fell off and they have put it on your parcel by accident. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
mconor, I would re-read unholyangel's comment:No I don't have accounts from either of these

To repeat, the package becomes Console Doctor's responsibility once you have handed the package to their agent.unholyangel wrote: »All you need to do is prove you handed it to CD's agent (assuming console doctor are the one who picked & paid for the delivery service). It should not matter to you that the carrier has not delivered the package to Console Doctor. That is entirely a matter between Collect+ and Console Doctor.
If Console Doctor will not budge, then I suggest a letter before action is called for.0 -
The receipts tracking number according to collect+ belongs to Shop direct. Console Doctor has said the label they sent out hasn't been logged as used. This is why I think the fault may lay with the Collect+ store that printed the receipt, whether it be a computer error or simply a mixup when scanning and handing over the receipts I don't know but I do find it peculiar that the parcel has gone missing before it even reached Shop Direct.unholyangel wrote: »OP does the receipt state any reference number/tracking number?

I agree Poppie.
Contact the shop and see what can be seen on CCTV (if they still have the CCTV footage that is - some places only keep cctv for a week or two). Also speak to the manager at the collect+ store and see if they can offer any advice on what could have possibly went wrong. You keep using that word. Sounds to me, in that case, that something has gone wrong at the shop, possibly with the Collect+ terminal and your parcel didn't scan and what they gave you was a receipt from the previous parcel (to Shop Direct) scan. The receipts tracking number according to collect+ belongs to Shop direct. I stopped by the shop and they no longer have footage from that time.unholyangel wrote: »Contact the shop and see what can be seen on CCTV (if they still have the CCTV footage that is - some places only keep cctv for a week or two). That's what I think too Neil but apparently there is nothing I can doSounds to me, in that case, that something has gone wrong at the shop, possibly with the Collect+ terminal and your parcel didn't scan and what they gave you was a receipt from the previous parcel (to Shop Direct) scan.
