    Hi
the dealer who purchased this motorhome is my uncle and after talking to him today he did indeed pay the wrong price.

Would it be ok if he went to see your parents at say 10.00am in the morning to collect the 2 grand he overpaid?
    thank you

Are you genuine or are you just trolling the OP?

Either way, you're out of line (even by my standards!). Either the 8k contract has been concluded and you/uncle most likely have no right to claw back any of the money paid or you've potentially caused distress to the OP who is just looking after 80+ year old relatives.

I don't know your uncle (and he may be a right nasty piece of work who would show up on the door of elderly people at 10am demanding 2k) but if I were him then I wouldn't want you clowning around on public forums about such a thing.

[STRIKE]While I agree it is a bit of a weird post, especially from someone who is an established poster, but you seem to have read it the wrong way - they are offering to repay £2K to the OP's relatives, not demand it back.[/STRIKE]

, Ever so clear as to state collect and not to reimburse. :)

Wrong it says collect the 2k overpaid to the OP relative, as for the above poster to your post here agrinnall they need to get a grip here it is the internet and people post silly things all the time and the chances of this matching up are nearly impossible to.

It's a stupid joke and hardly appropriate , we are talking about elderly people.

It's just a joke but kind of illustrates his point.

What would your opinion be had the dealer over paid and wanted money back off the elderly couple?

    Sense of humour bypass!

If you read the post again you'll see it wasn't really serious, not that funny either but that's another story.

You're intelligent enough to know that aren't you?

It's a point that's already been made, so , pointless?

Why would I be remotely interested in answering an off topic question from someone who's not offered any advice? Ask the op if it's important.
