I am having real problems with EE and trying to move my mobile number to my new phone. If I were moving from another provider then a pac code would work. However, because I bought my phone from a third party, Carphone Warehouse and then had a new contract with EE, even though I am out of contract with EE, they will not…

in practice , timing is important ,

but in real life things do not go swimmingly and easily with phone operators

OP , collect a free or paid for PAYG sim card , register it and apply some credit ready for "Me Grumblers" immediate change over .
