Old Alcatel Phone
Options
I have an Alcatel phone which I was using on Sainsbury's network which is now no longer.
I got a 3 sim but it is not recognised in the phone, all I get is please insert SIM.
Is my phone to old for 3 and their 3G network?
If it is, is there any low cost unlocked phone I could get as I hardly use my mobile, I still have a landline?

Why is it Three? If it's the price only, Delight Mobile offer the same PAYG prices on EE signal that includes 2g.0 -

Depends on what's special with this "Dream SIM "
Nothing special about a DELIGHT SIM other than the price.over 73 but not over the hill.0 -
Looks like you phone is locked to another network, not just lacks 3g.
It has in it's time had an ASDA SIM, a TESCO SIM and a SAINSBURY SIM and it was unlocked when I bought it.over 73 but not over the hill.0 -

Getting on in years and getting forgetful0 -
It would appear that my phone is locked to networks other than Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury.
How can I unlock it to Delight's network, preferably for free?over 73 but not over the hill.0
