  • What a grey depressing day, much different from yesterday really enjoyed the bright sunshine.

Lovely afternoon yesterday catching up with friend but was shattered when I got back, didn't sleep much last night I never do before a hospital appointment. Appointment went well and we were in and out quite swiftly they are happy with how I am healing, I also have an appointment in the new year for genetic testing, but i'm pushing that to the back of my mind as nothing can be done until I know whether I carry BRCA1/BRCA2 gene or not, lets just hope not.

Finances have been checked and a quidc0 payment of £8.27 has hit account so I have paid it off debt.

Woodburning Stove is lit and quiet afternoon in front of it with a book is planned.

Pleased your appointment went well. Your afternoon with a good read in front of the fire sound perfect.

Funnily enough, the weather in my part of London is rather nice today. I’ll send some your way.

  • Hi Pennywise

It's Choogirl, I had to change my name slightly as its so long since I logged on I'd forgotten my details!

I still lurk and read a few diaries and I was so sorry to hear about your diagnosis although it sounds like you're doing well and receiving good treatment. I'm glad DH is doing his bit along with your ds and dd and feel your frustration at been unable to drive and rush around like normal so make the most recent of your recuperation period.

    Take care
    Choo xx

Thanks choo, lovely to have you back. xx
  • Sending you lots of best wishes for a good recovery, so glad you have an amazing support network around you.

Reading from of the fire sounding so good, I haven't read a book in ages, I can't seem to concentrate or get stuck into one!

    Hope you're having a good weekend, H x
  • Afternoon.

Really feeling low today, I feel so up and down at the minute and just want things back to how they used to feel, but I suppose that is not possible.
Small spend this morning of £10 on toiletries for DD, also received £2.50 from surveys which I have sent to debt. Have sat and completed a few more surveys this afternoon and been able to redeem £15 from one site. 2 items have sold on £bay but not been paid for yet, only £8 but once paid that can also be sent debt.

Thanks H, I love it this time of year when the stove is lit and I can snuggle under blankets and read or watch TV.
  • Sorry you are feeling low, completely understandable though. Hugs Xx

I wondered why you hadn't posted. Blimey what an eventful time you've had :( Good that they've caught it in time though. Someone I work with was in the same situation this time last year and she's back to normal now, it all takes time.

Take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and enjoy your time out with friends and family - let them spoil you xx
