As the children are away, plan to have a day to yourself to recharge your batteries. Don't do any chores, just do something you enjoy. Your posts have been full on with doing stuff practically everyday, but is every day stuff and you probably haven't had much downtime of your own.0

Hi Chanie.
I think your right, I run around after everyone else, do the house stuff and still getting into my new venture on £bay and i'm not taking any time out. Also DH is supportive of my new venture but not, which I know sounds strange, but if I say to him i'm going to work in my work room for an hour which I have to do after work when its not the school holidays, he doesn't respect the fact I'm trying to work and will come and try and talk to me, or tell me the kids need something, or do I want a cup of tea, or do I know where x,y or z is. I have tried to talk to him about it and he agrees to leave me alone to concentrate for an hour and then he doesn't. It's like he needs company all the time and admits to not liking being on his own. He also expects me to re-arrange my evenings to fit into his, he goes out playing sport twice a week but these nights can change depending on matches, so its always me that has to rearrange what i'm doing and if its a night where DH is out and both children have activities on I end up playing taxi all evening ( live 6 miles from nearest town) and by the time I've made tea and done the basics around the house after work there is no time for me to do anything else.
I'm going to spend Thursday relaxing, will find something on N£tflix, eat chocolate and do nothing all afternoon.
Sorry for the ramble.0 -
Am pleased to see that you are going to have some downtime. The problem with working term time is that all of your annual leave is spent with the children, whereas your DH can at least have some time when the children are at school.0

Awful afternoon dealing with a buyer on £bay, started off with a horrible message because they hadn't received their item, which they paid for with an echeque which hadn't yet cleared, hence me not sending item out.
Explained this and received another message that I should have told them that they had paid by echeque and that I wasn't going to post it the next day and if they didn't hear back from me in 24 hrs they would cancel the order, I tried to explain again about the fact I couldn't post the item as echeque hadn't cleared and I was happy to cancel the order.
Received another message being rude and that it was all my fault and I should of told them that they had paid by echeque and it hadn't cleared and that they were going to leave negative feedback and tell everyone what a bad rude person I am. So I cancelled the order to which a got another message with a barrage of abuse, foul language etc etc.
This was all over a 99p item:eek:.0 -
Wonder if they do this all the time and get away with it, threaten to leave bad reviews so the seller backs down. Stick to your guns and happy E baying.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

I wondered whether they were an eBay troll, who just creates hassle for sellers. I periodically consider selling stuff on eBay, but then I read horror stories like yours and I think it just isn't worth it
I hope you enjoy your me day.0 -

Thanks, I do honestly think she wasn't quite right, maybe special needs and I don't mean that disrespectfully, her messages were almost unreadable, no punctuation/awful spelling, so a 6-7 line message hadn't a single comma or full stop to break up a sentence. It was honestly like reading something a young child had written, DH couldn't understand it at all, but i'm used to 6 and 7yr olds writing :rotfl:. But the language used told me otherwise, it was very strange.
I've been left bad feedback and I have lodged a complaint with £bay, for all the good it will do.
Chanie, I have sold through £bay for over 10 yrs and this is the first time this has happened, usually I can rectify a situation if there is a problem which actually very rarely happened, but there was no talking to this women, it was crazy.0 -
Morning, its a new day and onwards and upwards. I have drawn a line under yesterdays ebay.
I had a good chat with DH without being disturbed every 5 minutes which meant a clearing of air and maybe just maybe we have made tornado Tuesday less chaotic ( called so because both myself and DH spend Tuesday in a whirlwind running around in circles trying to fit everything in).
This has come about as DS wants to do an extra activity but actually means he can go straight from school to rugby then from rugby to cadets, DH is able to pick him and his friend up from Rugby at 5pm and then take them to cadets which starts at 6pm, 20 min drive inbetween the 2, which will give DS long enough to eat some tea in the car, Dh can then go straight on to his sports club, DS has a lift home with friends mum(DD will go with DH as she is at the same sports club and goes with him on a Tuesday)and all I have to do is think of me and I don't need to leave work early:j.
Need to go and sort finances out, up late this morning.0 -
So glad you had a good chat with DH Pennywise. My DH is being a pain at the moment too so maybe there is something in the air!!! xxMummytogirls x0
