I wondered why you hadn't posted. Blimey what an eventful time you've had :( Good that they've caught it in time though. Someone I work with was in the same situation this time last year and she's back to normal now, it all takes time.

Take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and enjoy your time out with friends and family - let them spoil you xx

Thanks Sun addict, I hope in time it gets easier. Some of it is psychological and wondering if it could come back, I need to know if its genetic to then be able to make decisions for my future (think Angelina Jolie) which would be major, it has been hard physically/mentally having 1 breast removed, my head is all over the place wondering what to do for the best and how to move forward but I need more facts to be able to make decision.

I know there is nothing I can say to help, but I truly believe that knowledge in power and I’m thankful that we have a health service and Drs who test us for some illnesses, so that we can make informed decisions. As with anything, one step at a time and don’t think too far ahead.

Morning Chanie, I to am thankful for the health service we have and cannot praise the nurses and Doctors that have taken care of me enough, they are truly amazing and we are so lucky.

Thankyou for your kind words, it does help. I'm trying not to burden my family to much with my thoughts as it is hard for them and sometimes it is easier to talk to people on the outside that aren't emotionally involved (if that makes sense).

Am pleased that you’ve had good support from the NHS.

Am always here (virtually!!!) if you want to offload. I think that keeping yourself occupied is he best thing to do. Once you come to the end of the week having achieved your goals, you’ll feel a great sense of achievement.

Can't fault the NHS after the fantastic job they did with Mr SA.

Hope everything turns out well and you don't carry the gene. Fingers crossed xx

  • Morning.

Children have gone to school :D, I love them to bits but they have driven me bonkers this week.

Even though its cold I have opened all the windows upstairs to let some fresh air in, what is it with teenage boys festering in a stench of sweaty socks and lynx  . I have lit the woodburner and closed the doors to the front room so it stays toasty warm in there for me to snuggle on the sofa and watch a film this afternoon before kids return after school and complain their rooms are freezing:rotfl:.

So stove is lit, DH can get me more wood in at lunchtime when he is home as I can't lift, washer is on, £bay parcel wrapped, banking done and £8 sent over to debt.

    Todays to do list.

    2 loads washing - 1 done
    Tidy bedroom
    wrap 3 £bay parcels 1 done
    list £bay items
    make biscuits or flapjacks
Banking done £8 sent to debt
peel/cook potatoes for on top of mince I cooked yesterday.
    Surveys 1 done

Must try and keep motivated, hope everyone reading has a great day.x
