:jChecked banking this morning and a total £58 had been paid in from survey sites so rounded it up to £60 and I've hit my target :j, I really want to book holiday but I know I have to wait until I have saved it all.

Had an email to say I've won another book :D.

Plans for today, post ebay parcels this afternoon, kids can come with me and go and catch some p0kemon, pay barc card, sort an online grocery order to be delivered fri/sat, baking.

Feels like its going to be a good day:D.

  • Brilliant work with the holiday pot!

Well done on the wins too. I've had my worst year ever - I've won absolutely nothing since December :( Xx

  • MOrning.

Banking, LP etc all checked, £3.21 TT into hols pot.

Thanks PLMBL and Mummy, it is building up nicely isn't it, i'm actually really surprised not only with how much we have saved but how motivated we are and the more it builds the more real it seems that we may get there.

DS had a cricket match last night, stupidly I forgot snacks, there is a clubhouse/bar and I had taken money for us a pint each (ds gets drink/food provided as it was a match game). I was really hungry on the wsay home as it was 9pm and we had had tea early at half four because of travelling, anyway we were good and drove straight home and even though it was late I made sandwiches when we got in.

Not sure whats planned for today, I might take the kids swimming later and see if I can get a few laps in If the lanes are not busy and leave kids in main part of pool, I hate using the lanes as i'm not the fastest swimmer and hate upsetting the serious swimmers by getting in the way.

Not much else going on at the minute, couple of items found and listed on £bay but not confident they will sell, redeemed on a few survey sites recently so don't think any are close to payout, think the rest of the month will be slow moneywise.
  • Morning.

Quick check of banking and have received £15 from a survey site, which has gone to hols account, nothing selling on £bay.

Nipping into town this morning, need to get a couple of things, need to chase DS bus pass as it hasn't arrived.

We went swimming yesterday and lots of fun had by the children. I'm currently trying to teach my teenage daughter to dive, but bless her I think its one of those things she will never master. DS learnt when he was around 7/8 yrs old, but DD hasn't been able to get it which annoys her that her younger brother can do something she can't, ah well sibling rivalry.

Weather has turned here and I've had to put a load of washing in the tumble dryer, its supposed to be a pants weekend and DH has booked it off work.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hi Chanie.

Not good, myself and DD have come down with an awful virus, only way I can describe it is like flu but without the cold, whole body aches, sore throat, headached and feel totally exhausted.
We have done nothing this week, I havn't managed surveys as I have struggled to even look at a screen. I have read a few diarys on here but not had the energy to post, not that I have anything interesting to post.

Had a couple of small ebay sales and survey payments which I've added to sig.
