:eek::eek: 29 and her room is still a tip, oh dear!

I'm 31 my flat is a tip, when I was with my Dad 2 years ago my room was too (too much household stuff packed up ready for when I had my own place again, mostly).

On the other hand I would cook for him and buy wine, couldn't do that when I was 13. ;)
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I think surveys are really quiet during the holidays!
    DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
    MFW (08/08) £118k Gone (09/23)
  • Afternoon.

Enjoying an hours peace, DH has taken DS off to his friends and gone to collect DD friend as well.

Managed to redeem £15 from surveys although takes 3 weeks to hit account, but it all helps.

Rst chicken for tea, followed by choc brownie which I still need to make.

Not much to update, just a quiet day pottering at home.
  • Good morning and its oohhh soooo quiet shhh, shhhhhhhh.

Dropped both children off with Grandparents yesterday afternoon and they are not being returned until Wednesday evening:).
I will be missing them like crazy by Wednesday but for now I will enjoy the peace and quiet.

So last night Dh and I went to the cinema and watched Bourne, it was brilliant and we had a lovely evening out together.

Banking has been checked this morning and there was no nice or nasty surprises so everything is ticking along, £1.36 £co money has been put in the hols account, no £bay sales over the weekend, so items have been reisted.

So for the next few days i'm on operation use up, really don't want to have to do a shop until Thursday when I will get a delivery, although I am really low on washing up liq and should have bought some yesterday whilst out, do have a couple of freebie dishwasher tabs knocking around and did wonder if I could melt them down in hot water and use those instead, surely they would be fine and would save me a 12 mile round trip.
So for tonights tea we are having chicken stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, with salad and roasted sweet potaotoes, I have a little bit of cream that needs using so going to make some scones, so we can have cream scones, DH is back at work so he will have had breakfast at work, I've had fruit and a yoghurt that went out of date yesterday but tasted fine. Lunch I'm not sure about. may well be ham and tomato sandwiches as MIL sent me back with loads of tomatoes and cucumbers from her garden.
I have also sliced up a lemon that was looking past its best and put it in the freezer, I have taken to drinking fizzy water with ice and lemon instead of alcohol, so thought frozen lemon would be fine for drinks and saves wastage.

Hope everyone is ok off to catch up on diaries and then do some surveys.x.

    Hi Penny,

I've been on holiday this past week, pleased that you and the family are doing well and that you had a nice trip to the cinema.

  • Morning all.

Not much happening here, its all very quiet and I will be spending the day pottering doing housework things.

Child ben has hit account today and I've also had a survey payment and a lucky ph0ne payment and £20 has been sent to hols pot :).
Couple of £bay items ending today but no bids so will just relist.

DH is out at sports club tonight and I'm going to have to cave and get him to buy washing up liq whilst he is out, must also do a Mr M order for Thursday.

Stilling eating from stores, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and tea will be pesto pasta with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes thrown in.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.
