  • HAPPY EASTER ALL.

Another day at home pottering, took DD to her friends this morning and then have done bits and pieces around the house, trying to declutter a we seem to accumulated loads since the summer when I had a mass clear out, so I've set myself a mini challenge to declutter 100 items in the next 2 weeks, so I have made a start -

    1. Dress - charity shop
    2. Top - charity shop
3 water bottle minus lid -recycling bin.
    4. old birthday cards - recycling bin.
    5. skirt - charity shop.

I have also sold an item on ebay for £20 but it hasn't been collected or paid or yet. I have also found a couple of items to go to ebay tomorrow.

I have received a payment of £2.50 from a survey site, so this has been added to hols pot.

Tea tonight is roast lamb, rst pots and veg, followed by choicolate easter egg, sooner they are all gone the better as they are cluttering the sideboard up.

Me and OH cleared the shed this weekend and its so much better. Most of the items we cleared out we're the children's garden toys - stuff which they were too old for and which took up lots of room. We didn't have anything there worth selling on. I hope your clear out proves successful, penny.
  • Hi chanie, well done on clearing the shed out, I think sometimes it nice to have a big clear out, you realise how much more space you have. I can't believe how much stuff we seem to accumulate and I don't buy half as much stuff as I used to especially now the kids are older and we don't have toys everywhere.
  • 6. bundle of DD old bobbly tights - binned.
    7. Old Christmas cards - recycling bin.
    8. work papers - burnt on woodburner.
    9. small scented candle - currently lit and making the living room smell all lemony.
  • 10. Necklace - charity shop.
    11. Bracelet - charity shop.
    12. Sample sized shower gel- used in shower this morning.

What a great idea to declutter 100 things bit by bit rather than all in one go. I've just been thinking to myself today I seriously need to have a good decluttering session but it's much more painless to do it bit by bit. I've been trying to aim to declutter one area a day - today it has been the freezer. Will subscribe to your diary and see how you get on.

Thanks Sun Addict, It is a lot easier to do it bit by bit and have a goal, just de cluttered some bits from a drawer in DS room whilst I was putting away laundry.
