  • £5 amazon voucher redeemed and received from a survey site:).

Still waiting for person who won ebay item to pay and get in touch regarding collection, bad feeling regarding this got a feeling it's gonna be a non payer .
  • Morning all.

Terrible nights sleep last night, back was really niggling me, got up and took some painkillers, I'm now up but feeling wooly headed/half asleep and not really with it. At least my back has stopped hurting.

Managed to get a few jobs done so far, animals have all been done, fire lit and wood brought in, washing on and a load from last night in the dryer. Plans today are to flylady the kitchen and do some baking, I have mince out for meatballs tonight and have taken some hot cross buns out of the freezer to snack on. Fruit and milk is running low, but I have a morrisons order coming first thing on Thursday morning, so fingers crossed we can last until then.

Couple more items have been decluttered this morning:

    36. yucky nail varnish - binned.
    37. hair nets - binned.
    38, 3 odd/broken earrings - binned.
    39. broken comb - binned.

Ebay person has been in touch regarding when to collect, given them days/times but they have not got back to me yet.

Off to check banking and surveys.

Hope everyone has a good day.x,

You have cleared out so much and are nearly halfway to your target of 100 items. Well done.

    Thanks chanie, getting there slowly.
  • Evening all,

    Quick update before bed.

De-gunked the kitchen so it's looking sparkly and clean, also made a yummy coffee cake.

Spent a couple of hours doing some paperwork for DH work.

Only one more item decluttered -
    40. Dressing gown - charity shop.

Still not heard from ebay buyer, really p***** me off as the item had 18 watchers and a last minute bidding war, why do people do this, sooooooooooo angry.
  • Good morning,

Its absolutely freezing here, we have had a sprinkling of snow overnight, although most of it has gone.

Checked banking this morning, Payment for hali CC has gone out and also contact lens payment has gone, so that's all bills paid for this month so I scooted my last £12 across to hols pot. Pay day tomorrow so a few more pennies will wing there way across.

Plans today are to do some flylady, DH mentioned finishing work at lunch today and having the afternoon with us, not sure what we are going to do though, maybe get out for a walk with the dogs.

Better go and get dressed and tidy living room.

I can't believe you have snow!!!! Here in London the sun is out, but there is a slight chill to the air.
  • Morning chanie, it was just a light dusting, all gone now though.
Sun has come out but its absolutely freezing, joys of living ooop north.
  • DH has just rung and decided he wants to paint the kitchen, so looks as though am not giving the living room a deep clean today.
Have checked what paint we have in the garage and we have a large tin of white and a tin of a duck egg blue colour, I'm not buying paint as its a want at the minute and not a need, so we will use these colours up, maybe have the large wall duck egg and around the units and ceiling white, I need to go and empty the kitchen into the dining room and start washing walls.
  • Good morning.

Its a bright and beautiful day today so have have washing flapping on the line.

Its also Payday :j, so back to another month of doing the money shuffle, I have sent £300  straight over to the hols pot, decided if it was gone then I would just have to manage, I have done a budget for the month and after bills, grocery, birthdays etc I have left myself with £150 wiggle room in case the unexpected happens.

Kitchen is painted and it looks lovely, all bright and clean. Only downside was when I took my blind down it fell to pieces, going to get a cheap roller blind from argos tomorrow, should be about £20.

Mr M has been and delivered my shopping this morning, was £90, but I had done a 10day meal plan and there was also lots of cleaning and toiletries, should only need to buy fruit, bread and milk next week.

Few more bits decluttered yesterday -
    41. 3 old biscuit tins - recycled.
    42. biscuit cutters - charity shop.
    43. stack magazine/catalogues - recycling bin.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.
