All sounds good. Payday for me too plus we are in the process of painting the hall. I also have my shopping delivered from Mr M - DD works there so I get a very welcome 10% discount. Where are you going on holiday? We go to Palma Nova 12 weeks tomorrow - and counting!

Hi Sun Addict, we have not booked anywhere yet, going to save for a bit and see how much money we have come June/July time, not really that bothered where we go as long as it is hot and sunny:D.
  • So ebay item has finally been paid for and collected at 9am, hence why I am up so early, so another £20 for the pot.

Wow, your holiday fund is amazing, in such a short space of time.

It does seem to be adding up nicely, fingers crossed it stays that way.
  • Took both children into town as they were both meeting up with friends, with ended up with some spends, some budgeted and some not .

Spent £5.00 in sainsbugs, DD needed new school tights and I also needed some ladies items. used £2.50 in nectar points, so it should have been £7.50. this was a budgeted spent.

£12.50 on a birthday present in lush - budget £15.
    £1 - card factory - budgeted.

I then made a fatal mistake and went into M&S, spent £10 on Italian meal deal, this was unbudgeted and will take out of grocery spend, regigged meal plan and we can have tonights tea tomorrow. Then had a browse in the clothes section, found a lovely purple top in my size which had been reduced down from £32 to £7 so I was naughty and bought it, whoops.

And now for the worst thing which is not a spend, when I got back to car park, my ticket had fallen off into the footwell and the parking attendant was doing his rounds, fairly sure I may be getting a parking fine, feel totally sick about this and havemy fingers and toes crossed that he hadn't got to my car yet.

I normally bulk buy cards from Card Factory - the 7 for £1 have a nice selection. They are particularly good for the children's friends!!! Cards end up in the bin anyway, so I don't see the point in spending lots of money.

I must admit to loving Lush. I only discovered it last year, having always walked past it and never gone in. It's my new 'go to' place for generic presents.

Fingers crossed you don't get a parking ticket. The same thing happened to OH once, where his ticket fell down. When the fine arrived, I sent an appeal letter with the ticket and explained that we had bought the ticket but it had fallen down, we are aware of the importance of ensuring the ticket is displayed, but it was an honest mistake. Luckily for us, they accepted this and we didn't have to pay. I guess the ticket offices receive a lot of irate appeal letters so I thought a polite 'begging' letter may work better.
  • Fingers crossed re the car ticket. I agree with Chanie - keep your ticket and send an 'I'm so sorry' letter if the worst happens. Xx
