Glad work has gone well but not good that some friends haven't been supportive. For goodness sake what's wrong with them, OK you've been ill, but you're still you. Drop them, you don't need them.

Our manager at work has been through the same as you. We don't even think about it unless she mentions it, she's still the same person.

Anyway, that aside, you're doing fab xx

Thanks SA, to be honest I've let the whole friend thing go, it's amazing how quickly you find out who your genuine friends are.
Work has been great and I know everyone is looking out for me in a nice way, the great thing about working with kids is they don't treat me any different, it'slike ok MRS PWPS has been off poorly, she is back now and that's it everything black and white.

Meal wasn't as nice as previous visits, not sure if we would go back as there are other restaurants that do similar food that are better.

    Update for yesterday-

Made £30 on ebay and sent £1 TT.

DS had a football match started at 11.30 which mean't he was starving when he finished as they played over lunch, but I stayed strong and we didn't go to maccy d, but came straight home and had sandwiches.
  • Afternoon.

We are a sick household, DD is full of cold but has gone to school as she had a maths test today and didn't want to miss it, sent her with the last of the beechams flu tablets so hopefully she is ok. DH has a cough and sore throat and DS was coughing this morning but he didn't complain so I presume he was feeling alright, fingers crossed they don't get any worse.

I had a hospital appointment this morning, all is going well and they don't want to see me again for 3 months but the genetics department do, so not completely free of appointments, but it is getting better.

Nipped into chemist after hospital and bought more cough medicine, paracetamol and throat lozenges, also nipped into Booths and bought honey, lemons and parmesan cheese. £16 spent today don't think I will be under £100 this week on grocery spend.

Not done finances yet so need to get on with that and start making a lasagne for tea.
  • Glad back to work was OK, and shame on supposed friends - better off without!

Hope the household gets better soon, yay to less appointments hope it continues xx
