I hope your first day back wasn’t too difficult for you. It should get easier every day. Thank you for your honesty about your illness and how difficult it was dealing with people’s reactions. It was really insightful to read. I must admit I’m one of those people who wouldn’t know what to say, so you’ve given me something to think about.
You’ve reminded me that I need to renew DDs passport as it runs out in June. I decided to wait until Christmas was out of the way before dealing with the renewal, but I want to get it done early.
First day back went really well and so lovely to see everyone.
Regarding my illness I suppose I have always been the person people come to for support and suddenly I was the one needing rather than giving and some friends have found it hard to deal with, some havn't been there at all not even a text to ask if i'm ok:(. But I suppose now I have come to realise that they are not a friend after all.0 -
So work has gone really well and so nice to see everyone, some things have changed but I willget my head round it eventually.
Small spend on milk, fruit and salad bits £6.05.

Glad your first day back went okay
I'm like Chanie I'm the one who never knows what to say or how to say things 'right' so I don't say anythingAlthough to not even send a text shows they aren't true friends. Don't be left feeling guilty! x

Quick update for yesterday as I was too tired last night.
Work has gone really well but I was shattered last night, but in a good way, I felt happy and really enjoyed being back at work, the children are fantastic and all the staff have been so supportive, I' lucky to work with such a great group of people.
Grocery spend on way home from work as I realised I had forgotten to take chicken out of freezer for curry, ended up buying chicken breast, reduced mince, reduced bread, reduced teacake and sandwich meat, spent £18. but i'm still under budget for the week as new grocery budget starts on a Friday so need to send leftover to savings.

Weekly Grocery budget 5/1/18 - 11/1/18 £100/£86.60

Morning.
Busy day today, lots of housework to do,paperwork, surveys, ebay stuff and need to nip into town to get tights and hairpins as we are out for a meal tomorrow and I realised yesterday when getting ready for work I have no black tights, I think DD has been borrowing them whist I've been off work and I havn't noticed as I have been living in leggings and jeans.
New grocery budget starts from today, under budget last week by £13, hopefully this week will be the same. Veg box being delivered later and some fish, so will update grocery spends once I have receipt.
