LW - it might be a bit of a squash under that table, and I hope you've got enough slippers to go round ... (I usually yell them I have some work to do, point them at the boiler and tell them to knock if they need me and hen out my headset on and pretend to be on meetings whether I am or not. They should be getting on with work not chatting and wanting cups of tea).

FBO - torrential rain here too, and I need to do a 1hr run. Its usually ok once you get going. Are you doing the 1000km in a year challenge?

Managed to Hoover the kitchen and dining room last night, and also polish the new (plywood) dining table leaf. So I should be able to get the new table cloth on today.

Lots of bed making to do as I have a houseful at the weekend.

So I've washed the breakfast dishes, dusted the dusty bits in the LR, changed a lightbulb, cleaned the bathroom, walked the dogs and done other dailies. Also made a phone call just now to sort out an issue - now sorted.

Paid stuff now once I've checked my mobile phone balance.

    See you later or tomorrow.

Morning all, and welcome to newbies.

LW, I am sitting in the train at a table and my slippers are in my bag with my books and fruit - with you all the way x

Dizzy, my DS 2 has Crohns too. Relaxing vibes to your DH.

My day has started well. Got to bed late last night, but managed to get up when the alarm went off at 6:00. Showered, S&S'd bathroom, drank tea made by DH, cooked mushroom omelette for us both, S&S'd kitchen, told DH what to eat for lunch, out of the house at 6:45 and caught the train before the one I was aiming for :rotfl:

Walked across the city centre from one station to another and had time to go into the newly redecorate cathedral which has a really creative art installation - so I took lots of photos :)

Managed to find my prepaid WiFi code for the XCountry train and it is working, so nothing to pay today for the fun of catching up with you all :D

Just approaching your neck of the woods, Mrs-mp  and the sun is visible. It would be nice to have a dry day...

    See you later x

    Morning all

LW - Buckets of coping vibes heading your way.

Welcome to all the newbies & returners :D

Dizzy - Hope everything goes okay for your DH. A friend has it, and judging by how he described having a colonoscopy I wouldn't wish it on anyone :o

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes as needed to all!

DD is back at school today but I actually managed to get up, showered and dressed before she left for a change :j I have so much planning (as in putting stuff in my diary!) and stuff to do today, and paid stuff that should have been done over the holidays but I didn't do it :o I think it's going to take me a couple of days to get back into any sort of routine and the week to catch up.

Narco, I was actually awake just not on here at that time.. :D Well done on finishing the paperwork :D

Atos appointment changed.. amazing how they find the appointment they promised you in the first place when you threaten vomit all over their nice carpets

High school rang and raged at

Child maintenance people rang and laughed at and then raged at.. PENNIES INCOMING.. maybe not today but incoming soon!

Nagged mother for the £220 she owes me.. bother.. I missed off the £30 for the hat and scarf.. *adds on*

The high school rang me and said they want £97 before Friday (I am £111 overdrawn!) ..

I have an ebeast parcel to post today and to finalise the writing up of the cowl pattern to upload to ravelry

I have a mountain of washing to do, Avon to sort out (some to fling at ebay) and the remaining Christmas bits to put away and school stuff to sort for tomorrow. DS3 has his first of the next round of counselling sessions to go to at 7pm too.. I'm still not entirely sure where it is..

Ooh I need to ring motobility too for the insurance bits.. I'll do that next.. maybe.. or not.. just today..

I had an awful nights sleep last night so feel rough as a porcupines back comb today.. thankfully the naughties are kind of behaving for now!
