Maria - hope the migraine has eased now. Migraleve is expensive (but great if it works, not sure what you took but it's only meant to be 2 pink in 24 hours)
I read somewhere that co-codamol tablets are a cheaper alternative to migraleve (and if memory serves me right, the c-c tablets have more codeine in them as well) but it depends if you need the anti-sickness bit thats in the migraleve

I have them bad as well but i get the sumitriptan (imigran 50 ? ) from the docs.
Not very MSE at £8-20 for 12 but they work quite quick (but i feel as sick as a parrot and have to go to bed immediately after taking one) and I recover a lot quicker as well, 4 hours kip and a day feeling wooly .. instead of needing to spend 13+ hours in bed and 2 days feeling rotten like i used to

Listed some more stuff on ebay this evening, changed the postage costs to free for worldwide and it looks to have worked and got overseas buyers bidding already .. YAY

For members doing FPL and lucky phone - there's also Numberplate lotto (car reg number , make one up or use an old one , and email address) and daily DOB lotto (date of birth , similar to birthday bingo , email address)
  • Hope you're feeling better Maria!

Yorkshirelass I feel your pain around homework. My 16 year old seems to think its code for '11pm work'

I've ticked off everything on my list today with a complete NSD for the first time in weeks :T:beer::j I even went into the gym cafe, used the free lemon and lime water they provide, gave my little one a snack (and maybe sneaked the odd bit for me :rotfl:) and didn't buy anything. This is a mega achievement for me! I am determined to become a true DFW this year :D

Added to the list was making my oh and son packed lunches for tomorrow and encouraging them both to have a NSD.

    Loving it!

  • Just been reading another diary and saw them mention this thread, what a good idea. Some days when you aren't earning extra money it can feel like you aren't doing anything so goo d to focus on the small things.
    Today I have:
Cleared out the fridge and used two lonely lemons to make a lemon drizzle cake.
Also used a lonely frozen chicken breast to make a curry, bulking it out with veg.
Made lunches for work for me and Dh for tomorrow.
Brought an unwanted Christmas present off my son for £5 ( we couldn't take it back as don't know where its from and I'm too embarrassed to ask) I will use this for a regift later in the year.
