Hi ziggy, great to have you on board. Can't wait to see your lists. You always inspire meMortgage - £2338.07 BTL 1 £51,089.10 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 No Craft Spending in 2023 0/365 Stash Busting Challenge 2023 0/2023 [COLOR0 -
Didn't post yesterday so I have two days to catch up on:
1. Declutter 2016 items
H2B picked up the junk mail on the door mat and left it on the kitchen table  moved it into recycling
39/2016
2. Read 16 Books
Didn't read last night but did Wednesday night
3. Make 3 homemade meals a week
Went to the in laws last night and had a take away, can't remember what we did Wednesday!!
2/3
4. 16 no spend days a month
Spent nothing yesterday or Wednesday. This challenge is definitely making me not spend, I only buy what I need and try to group things into the same day. And not just go for a wander around the shops!
3/16
5. Exercise 4 times a week (I have signed up to a triathlon in July so this is a must!) The triathlon is for my Duke of Edinburgh diamond challenge and a month before the wedding. Have been having back trouble but need to slowly get back into it!
Been to the gym 4 times this week. And went for an extra walk yesterday.
4/4
6. I currently do the VSPC in which I do a daily, weekly and monthly challenge. Daily is on the 1st Jan put £3.66, 2nd £3.65 etc until the 31st Dec is 1p. Have done it opposite to most people as I felt I'd be more enthusiastic in the beginning and also get more interest! Weekly is rounding my bank account to the nearest £10 at the end of every Sunday and monthly is rounding my salary to the nearest £100.
All transferred over the weekend.
7. Clean/tidy for 16 minutes per day
Yep, did more washing and washed dishes - our dishwasher is broken
8. Do at least 3 pages of my Travel scrapbook per month.
Failed at this last month. Fingers crossed for this month!
1/36
9. Bring a packed lunch at least 16 times a month.
Wasn't in work yesterday and my parents took me out for lunch, have brought lunch with me today
4/16
10. No buying any unnecessary toiletries and using the stash first
Going well
11. When doing craft use up stash in house first, only exception is wedding craft! I have a huge cupboard full of things but always seem to buy new when I want to make something. Allowing the wedding to be an exception as some things I've never had before.
Nothing yesterday or Wednesday
12. One meal a week to be shopped for in the kitchen cupboards
2/1
13. Do 16 random acts of kindness that cost nothing
2/16
14. 16 days out with family/friends that doesn't include holidays
2/16
15. 16 days out with H2B that doesn't include holiday
1/16
16. Visit elderly relatives twice a month IN THEIR HOME. I often time a visit to my parents house when I know they'll be there.
Went and saw one of my Nan's on Wednesday evening and saw the other one yesterday.
2/4 (I have two to visit)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!

I can't believe it is already the 6th of Feb and I havent posted an update yet this month
Great to see all the newbies. As always, you are coming up with ideas that i wish I had chosen (especially instead of all the ones I keep failing at!). I love the one about deleting 16 items from the computer each month, I could probably keep that going for about a decade!
Anyhow, here's my update for first week of feb
1. Take a packed lunch to work at least 16 days a month - (2/16)
not the best start...
2. Do at least 15mins Flylady-ing a day
Again, terrible, life really getting in the way this week. Planning a big clean tomorrow for the Archer's omnibus though.
3. Reach my step target on Fitbit 25 days a month (2/29)
Umm...
4. Use the 'seven' fitness app at least 25 days a month
another fail
5. Achieve 10 No-Spend-Days a month (1/10)
Click and Collected my grocery shop so spent on that.
6. Keep YNAB up to date daily - yes
7. Overpay mortgage by £5000 (£1046.54/£5000) :T
8. Complete at least 30 surveys per month on survey sites (8/30)
getting really into swagbucks at the moment, nearly got enough to actually cash something out
9. Claim work expenses on time every month (due by 29/2)
don't need to worry about yet but want to report that Jan was in and approved on time for travel. Sadly my extra hours weren't in on time as I was doing them on the 31/1, dont often do them so didnt really know the system. Will try and claim as I go along this month, just worked Friday so will aim to put those hours in on monday.
10. Meal plan for all week day meals
A job for this weekend
11. Declutter 2016 items in 2016 - 19/2016
need to step up the decluttering (and stop hoarding it all in the boot of my car!)
12. Unsubscribe from at least one spam email everyday - yep!
too easy!
13. No buying books or magazines in 2016 yep!
14. Read 16 books in 2016 0/16
I have a tiny bit of book one still to go. Books 2-16 are going to need to either be shorter or a bit more gripping if I am going to achieve this!
15. Make one new recipe a month - not yet
Still stinging from last months disaster!
16. Batch cook two things for the freezer each month - not yet
Lots to do to get back on track, good luck everyone for a DFW weekend.
