More patchwork blocks made, which i will sew together to make a long runner for my window sill, total makes now 49. Cut a dress out from a free pattern that was with Love Sewing magazine. First one i have used from them, so hope it turns out alright. Fabric is a lovely shade of yellow with red flowers, bought it off Ebay two years ago, have had to buy a zip though as nothing i had in was suitable to use or recycle from something else. Next item is a blouse when i decide on the fabric. Retirement means i can sew all day every day or as i want.

I am a new member to the forums and would like to join in with this challenge. My crafting stash is now starting to take over a second room in the house so I need to use it up before buying any more. I am aiming to make 100 cards by the end of the year.

I was think big about sewing bee as well Rosie so just googled.
According to what I read applications are still being accepted and filming is due to Start in Spring so I imagine it will be a while yet before its on tv.

Made a start on a dress yesterday, will hopefully get it finished over the weekend

Hi all.

Everyone has been busy.

I have not been. Gah! No further makes and I had a lapse. Haha

£14.70. Bought a metre of wool to make a cape with matching thread - and think I may have already had that shade. - and 4 pieces of jersey Which will make one or two tops - or one top and and an infinity scarf - and a shrug cardigan. These will be started this weekend. If I have the right colour thread for them. Haha

I will need to use some buttons on the cape - which will hopefully be from stash. I'm gutted I had been doing so well.
