Thank you all for your comments
I spent this evening trying to get stuff up to date, I FINALLY registered to manage my mortgage account on line, as soon as I've done that I can manage my account better and make some over payments (& update the signature)
For the first time this year I read my meters tonight, and I've also gone over my budget, which isn't looking wonderful as my tax code is horrendous this year. There's still more coming in than going out, but I'm going to have to be a little careful.
The beeb thing went ahead, all filmed, tho I'm not sure when it's going to be on the telly, I don't want to watch it at all!!
I'm still half heartedly looking for another job, as there are some much better paid things out there which would make all the difference, I'm getting a bit bored in my current role - itchy feet!!
Signature is updated, since I started my emergency pot, it's not been touched :A so nearly 25% of the way there towards my target of £6k.
Been cycling lots recently - I did buy a new bike, £1200 ouch, but I LOVE it, and it was paid for in cash as I saved up :A, I just completed a coast to coast charity ride on it, so worth it.
So that's me up to date then, glad I'm back, I think it could have gone astray if I'd carried on not taking stock.

I FINALLY managed to register for online access to my mortgage, and made my first over payments this week (into the offset account) woohoo. Balance is updated, and currently accuring interest at a rate of £7.05 per day
Not much else to report, cycled to Aldini for cat food tonight.
Oh yes there is, I have a job interview Monday eeek. Potentially £12k more per year. I have decided that if I'm going to trample all over this mortgage and still have a life I need to earn more.Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Had another wonderful weekend...that's all! :happyhear
Starting to get a bit more organised financially now. Emergency fund has been transfered to the offset account, along with a spare £250, I think that saves me £2.68 per month in interest.
Still have my interest free CC balance to pay down, and have £2877 saved towards that. Get me....where did all this money come from :rotfl:
However, with the mortgage to pay down and the improvements I want to make to the house, my frugal ways must continue.
Off to prep for my interview tomorrowPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Lovely to read you are soooo Happy Skinny
:D
Good luck with the interview Xx0 -
This seems to be turning in to a bi-monthly update!
Well I haven't been paying off as much off the mortgage as I'd planned. But I have got £2200 in my offset account which I think is saving me 11p a day in interest whoopwhoop :T
Just requested £43 payout from T@pcashback, and filed an expense claim for £230, although I need that as I had to pay some work expenses out of my own pocket recently so funds are low for spends this month.
Also got £2700 in a savings account to pay off my interest free debt next August, I need to be topping that up. That's earning more interest that in the offset so it can stay there til the promotional rate finishes in Feb
So although I'm not screaming through my mortgage, like I did my debt, I have not receeded back into my old ways (just yet!) and am managing some savings. Actually I have just totted up all my various savings pots - £6601 :j
Had a lovely holiday withflying round france in his plane. Yes not only did I manage to find a genuine and lovely man, but he's a pilot with his own plane. In the words of my son "How on earth did you manage to find him on T!nder". I think I just cashed in 10 years of rotten luck in 1 go.
Job interview went well, I have a second interview next Thursday, would really like to get this job, a good pay rise and a bit more of a challenge than what I'm currently doing.
Brexit, now don't get me started, who ever thought that was a good idea, well...I've already waved bye bye to this year bonus as there's no way we'll hit our targets with exchange rates as they are. However interest rates have been cut, so if my mortgage follows I think that'll make me £1 per day better off.
Goodness knows what's happening to my poor pension.
I hope youre all well, well those few who still stop by! xxxPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022
