a suceessful weekend. I Finlly got back the £110 that DD owed me, which reminds me that DS also owes me £20.

I had some fab charity shop bargains, that should see me through the winter. Sold foot pump on FB for £3 and paid it into the offset account.

I thinking of giving up drink to Xmas hols, I'm not certainly ssaying I am as thats long time for me, lets see how I get on. I drink about 3 bottles of wine a week, so for each less I will put an extra £5 into the offset account.

I'm going to have halloween party, which is going to give me a deadline to sort the garden, I need to find a joiner to fix my decking first. It would be good to do that before the poor weather sets in and I get busy with my new job.

I'm loving this working mmy notice, only 2 weeks to go now, and I've not got much left to hand over really, so just enjoying the break.

BF is away right now, on motorcycling holiday with some friends, missing him like mad, but it's given me some 'me time', sorted out my wardrobe and did charity shop run. also managed 24 mile bike ride with new friend including tea and cake.

Now need to spend some time thinking about pensions :rotfl:

Working from home today so £8 saved and paid into the offfset account, I will do the same tomorrow. There doesn't seem any point in going into work now as only 1 week and 2 days left, and most of my stuff is now being looked after by some-one else (who is also leaving...go figure lol). I'm making the odd appearance to save face, no-one seems that bothered :T.

Still haven't had drink for 5 days now, so hopefully some extra payments to go into offset at the end of this week. Off set account is currenty at £2253, and my next mortgage payment should see that balance below £130k, still seems an insurmountble stack of debt :( However been having fun with the overpayment calculator and mortgage free by 55 could be possible if I make good use of the 25% tax free pension plus put £220 in the offset each month (oh and if interest rates don't change)

Another £8 saved, working from home Friday and only 1 bottle of cava purchased (ony drunk half of it too:mad:) so another £18 into the offset account this evening.
Cycled 30 miles today with a new ladies group, it was good to be out again, cycling has been neglected this summer really, other things on my mind :heartpuls:D
Last week at work, oh and my boss resigned last Friday to, which made me chuckle just a little.

    RANT Warning....
Why are my kids such messy inconsiderate people. Treat the house like a hotel, never pick anything up, never tell me where they're going or when they'll be back.:mad: How do I get them to move out???

YAY, now below the £130k mark. With the offset, daily interest is down from £7.05 to £6.93, 12p a day £43.80 per year.
My next target is to get 5% paid off, which will happen at the end of this month. Still seems small baby steps, such a massive amount to go :o
I spent this week end walking in the Dales, a very cheap weekend, £35 for accoomodation and food, and £15 on alcohol :(

No sure if I said before. DS is training to get into the marines right now, so food bill is going up! But on the other side if he does get in, he'll be moving out and the food bill will plummet!!

My final day at work was friday, I managed to leave without crying :T
I got a jawbone fitness tracker as my leaving pressie. It measures, sleep, activity and heart rate. So far I've walked 40,000 steps and not had much sleep :rotfl:
I now have a week off before starting my new job, not at all frugal as it's unpaid, but the break will be good for me.
    Thank you for reading xx

Well I had a most fabolous week off, very relaxing and de-stressed, I wish I was a kept woman :D

Well third week into the new job, and have been paid already :T although not sure yet what my proper take home will be, so it's a bit difficult trying to budget. I'll do a new SOA then.

DS passed his final interview for the marines today, just his medical and physical to go now. I started writing that sentence all cheerful and jolly, and by the time I'd got to the end I'm in tears...my little boy
