Just playing with Banktivity now - if you give these people your bank logins - is that wise ?
Do people do that ? I'm thinking thats not secure, but it would be quite convenient for it to pull it all in automatically.
I don't want to give them my bank login details - was the same with Money Dashboard - didn't want to give them my details either.
Then again I guess thats how MS Money worked, but that was Microsoft. Thanks

I've used the Direct Access function to download transactions in Banktivity for months with no problem.
It remembers what categories to assign to regular transactions, e.g. salary, and can produce reports summarising totals in a period.0 -
I've been using Moneydance for approx 9 years now since I switched from PC to a Mac, therefore having to ditch MS Money.
It's a great little programme and handles multiple accounts. You can set up budgets and forecast spending patterns up to a year in advance. Ideal for those with a fixed income so you can plan ahead and know exactly how your spending today will affect you bank balances up to a year ahead.0
