Replacement for Microsoft Money

iBank 5 looks interesting too.
I can't decide
Or should I just set up a spreadsheet?0 -
Had a go with money Manager EX but fell at the first hurdle. It wouldn't let me import bank transactions - I got error messages.
iBank 5 has a 30 day free trial so I'll give it a go0 -
Never found a replacement for MS Money. it still works on Windows 10 (after a simple registry edit). Nothing seems to beat Microsoft on this in my eyes. It does the job it is required to do.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Gnucash, free and cross-platform. You cannot import from Microsoft Money but you can use the export function in Microsoft Money to export to Gnucash.
Double-entry book-keeping for personal and small business accounting. A lot like Quicken I think.

The registry edit isnt needed now. The problem was fixed a few weeks ago. For me MSMoney is pretty near perfect if you have both multiple bank accounts and investments, especially with the Gaiersoft software that enables automated share and fund price downloading from ft.com.0 -
I have previously used iBank 5 but found it too biased towards American terms such as Checking Account. For the last two years I've used Money Dashboard. It does everything I need and I have felt no need to try anything else. It's very user friendly and customer support is first class. As a new user I'm unable to post a link but it's easy enough to find online (all the Ws Money Dashboard Dot Com). Oh, and it's also free.0

I'm using a trial version of iBank 5 and been impressed so far. It downloads my main accounts with no problems. In this respect is the same as Money Dashboard.
The reporting functionality in iBank is impressive and this is missing in Dashboard.
So iBank is £45 and has more functions but Dashboard is free.
It obviously depends what you want but both seem to work fine.0 -
I've used iBank 5 for a few weeks now (with the 30 day trial).
There have been a few minor problems but they have been sorted using"Live Chat".
I've been very impressed and will probably buy it. :T0
