Is he narcissistic, or just a rubbish boyfriend who isn't really into you?

There are other men out there...

There is one way to make you make the next decision for you.

if a friend said what you have written word for word in your first post, as an outsider looking in , what would you suggest they do next or what is the best for them?

You will have your answer then. Life's too short. And at this juncture, you can choose to be happy or not.

Why bother? Life's too short, ditch him and move on.

Sometimes relationships get off to a badf start - and if you hang on in there they improve- however this man seems to make you feel unhappy, under valued and uncherished for a lot of the time. i think he's quite proud of his pr1ck status and won't bother to change....but then why should he when you allow him to get away with behaving like a 15 year old .

    Another vote for RUN- Sorry

  • Do what I did.

Marry this person. Stay with them for 21 years. Suffer depression. Anxiety. Diminished self esteem. Restrict your career opportunities as a result.

Then leave them. Losing 100% of your house and part of your pension.

A narcissist is an abuser. The emotional bruises will, over time, destroy you. Narcissists are actors. Their capability to change is nil. But, for a short time, you will see fabulous change. Which will then cease with no explanation.

Pity this man but do not remain in a relationship with him. Get out. Cease contact. Never return.

If a man in his forties still acts like a pr1ck and admits he knows he does , it's a certainty that he has always treated people this way so he's very unlikely to bother changing now OP. Why would he ?
