Yes, a riverside apartment with the lounge and balcony having river views - two beds, two baths and what I really like is that it has a separate kitchen. Personally I'm not keen on the idea of an open plan kitchen lounge. I'm a messy cook.......:rotfl:

It's a bit of a bland beige box but it has good bones.......;) and it's only ten years old so not a huge amount to do to bring it up to date.

I'll post a link when I know it's mine and you can have a good nose......

I must have missed your post ll about putting in the offer. Sorry. Just read the post. How exciting for you. Riverside apartment sounds so posh!!!!!

Like you, I prefer a separate kitchen too. I don't know why architects plan homes like this - well, I know why, it's to save space, so they can build more. My SIL has an open plan kitchen-living room and it means there is no escape from the children!!!

Thank you for the advice regarding clothing and accessories. I had been thinking along the right lines however I will have a good look around the shops and fine tune things when I see what colours and styles are available.

LL sounds like exciting times for you!

Rummer I tend to use my beach bag as carry-on on the plane ;)

    I have this beach bag

I don't like material beach bags as sand can make them mucky, so I tend to go for waterproof ones like plastic. This beach bag isn't beautiful, but it's very practical.

I have the exact same beach bag but mine's in black!!:D:rotfl:

I like it because it weighs nothing in itself so isn't heavy with all my bits and pieces in.

Good point about using it as a carry on floss. I have done that in previous years but last year we went with easyjet so only one bag allowed and I had a little suitcase so beachbag takes up almost no space lying flat in case.

So excited for you ll and can't wait to see the pics of the apartment, fingers crossed you get it.
I have an appointment with my sports therapist/physio today so that's going to hurt but good for the long term :) so I defuzzed last night and used my oil moisturiser.
I'm still doing my yoga and c25k but my eating is still no where near as good as I would like it to be so I'm going to start a food diary for the rest of January and see where I'm going to make little changes in February.
I need to start looking for a new perfume as well the two I have been using are just about finished and I fancy something new.

Just coming out of (regular) lurkdom to draw your attention to a bit of a bargain that might interest fabbers over on grabbits. There is a post about the nails inc micropedi set being down to £20 in boots but OP also posted on discount codes with another £10 off code for the set which makes it £10 delivered to store. It is the set with the micro pedi foot sander and two nails inc polishes. You should be able to pay with points too. I would but I used mine to stockpile Badedas last month.

Really enjoy the thread, just generally haven't got much time for posting at the moment.

Hex2 - thank you for this, (order placed) I had been thinking of getting one of these, but decided against it on cost, but at this price it is worth a punt:D I have two of the possible colours, but they can always go into the present drawer if need be:)

[/B]maman t we have the same fab taste in beach bags!!! I have the silver one. I may buy one for my mum and sister as they liked my one.

Hex and maddie I have a micropedi and really recommend it. When OH bought it for me for Xmas, I was dubious, but I now, I love it. Quick tip - I buy the replacement rollers on Amazon. They are 'fake', but they do a good job. The official rollers are £10 for 2 and these are £10 for 4.

Thanks hex I will have to have a look at that.
I got the Deliciously Ella Everyday cookbook yesterday and everything in it looks lovely I really think it's better than her first book as the majority of the recipes look faster to put together and not too much of a faff.
So my plan for February is to have breakfasts and lunches from the book and the same evening meal as everyone else and hopefully I will get rid of some weight and feel a bit more awake.
