My first two 2016 UUs! :j
1) La Roche-Posay Soothing Protective Cream - WNBA as I prefer other creams from this brand and it smells horrible.
2) Superdrug Nourishing 5 Minute Fabric Facial Mask - this is the first time I have ever tried a sheet mask and I came to the conclusion I have a very small face. The nose/mouth/eye holes did not line up with my face so I spent ages trying to scrunch it into position so it covered my skin! I quite liked it. If anyone can recommend any sheet masks for dry/sensitive skin that would be great.0 -
2 UU to report:
Body shop glazed Apple body butter 50ml- WBA I like the glazed Apple scent and it was a nice thick consistency that sunk in quickly, as with all TBS butters. I do have this in a 200ml somewhere so don't need to re purchase.
Body shop glazed Apple shower gel mini- WBA but do t need to as have another 2 minis and a full size in stash. I like the scent and it lathers up nicely. You can smell this on your skin for quite a while after your shower and I liked that. This see,s to be the general case with TBS shower gels I've found. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Welcome Palindr0mic. You've found a good place for support? What is your toiletry weakness?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Up until now I have always filled the girls stockings with toiletries. They are all over 18 now so last year I didn't do stockings thinking they probably thought they were a bit childish and they had their own favourite brands etc. There was a general outcry, ''we love getting those stockings!' so this Christmas I did stockings again. I still have a fair stash so I managed to supply each of my girls with a shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, hair mask, face cream, and lip balm from my stash so 4x7=28 items given away!:T

Despite my saying I didn't want any toiletries I got for Christmas...
Tesco Luxury Cranberry bathset
No. 7 cleansing oil and nightcream
Neal's Yard indulgent pampering set
Today I also picked up Boot's Natural Collection waterguard brown/black mascara. I have other mascaras, but in my defence this is my HG being brown-black and waterproof and doesn't irritate my eyes - I thought it had been discontinued its been months since I've seen it - but it seems to be back!:j
I too put together gifts for friends at work from my stash. Feels good to clear some items out.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Definitely! Not right away as I have so many different face scrubs and masks to get through, but once my stash is back under control I so will!
I am the same. I think I have 4 exfoliator a in my stash at the moment. I watched a YouTube video by Megsmakeup8 whereby she filmed all her skincare by category and the visualisation of it all on her vanity was a wake up call she said. I think I may photo each of my categories so I don't forget what I have.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I am still yet to try a sheet mask but would probably have same problem as you. I saw a YouTuber applying one recently that came in two separate parts for upper and lower face. Can't remember the brand though no doubt it was expensive. Might be worth investigating as to whether we have anything similar in the UK.?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Is everybody ready to get back to work tomorrow? I am. Am going to start my WW plan properly and attempt to get my 10,000 steps on my Fitbit by walking to my second bus stop rather than getting a first bus to travel to it. Did a workout yesterday and am feeling pretty achy today. Will use some sample sachets today I think to boost my UUs.
Saw a link on Fb last night for the Laura Geller US TSV and if the UK gets the same kit (as it usually does I will not be interested at all! It contains what sounds like an amped up BnB to give more coverage (which in fairness I think I need to try), Highlighter (definitely don't need another one!), lip oil(?) and eyelash conditioner (again, ? ). Surely lip balm/Vaseline will work the same? My money's safe from this kit. I am realistically only going to run out of Spackle this month however do have some MAC Prep and Prime left somewhere (and Emma swears she does not have it).Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Good news about your mascara, it's awful when you have to start trying to find something else that you like as much.evilsquid1603 wrote: »I have a TA, found a Mac eyelash primer that was bought in 2011 so it went straight in the get rid pile! Realised this gave me enough to do a Back to Mac though so IN of lippy in Lady Danger, was the only red I don't have of theirs.
Also a GA of an elemis travel toner, it gave me a reaction and a very red face after two separate uses so I've got rid.
I doubt I will ever be able to do a Back to Mac, I have loads of stuff but they never seem to run out.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I think I would be the same with these masks, when I buy hats I am always amazed at how gigantic they are so people must have much bigger heads than I do generally:rotfl:.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I have a couple of uu's but they are only sachets
Tresemme Hair Oil (can't remember the exact name) it smelt nice but there wasn't enough in there to form an opinion, I have dry, curly hair which needs a good dose of oil.
Chanel Le Beiges Foundation - this was very nice, I got two applications from the sachet and the colour match was excellent for a change, it went on beautifully and lasted well all day which you would expect. The name of it is healthy glow something but I didn't notice any glow though.
Repainted my nails last night with Butter London Dahling which I love a lot.
I have had several NPI's over the last few days, the first was the S&G kit which went down to £25, I didn't want it when it was £30 so I don't know what difference the extra fiver made. I resisted though. Then it was the Smokey Poppy range in TBS which I love the smell of, next was the Lush online sale, I rarely buy from Lush and have never shopped in the sale and I think everything is overpriced so I don't know what that was all about. Lastly it was a Stila palette reduced from £49 to £18, a total bargain if I didn't already have a lifetimes supply of eyeshadow, it contained 12 eyeshadows I think and 4 blushers and a mini mascara. It sold out in the end so that sorted out that problem:eek:.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
