QVC is still a good place to shop for beauty items as long as you get value from the whole kit they sell. MRM used to buy me multiples of the eElemis Christmas TSVs so that I'd have a stock of PCMC (HG) for the year but I asked him to stop the year before last cos I was drowning in the bath stuff (pun intended!). I think these are now the oldest items in my stash and I will pull them out for use soon.

I did buy 1x the xmas Elemis TSV as like you I love pcmc and adore the scent of Frangipani so win win for me

Up until now I have always filled the girls stockings with toiletries. They are all over 18 now so last year I didn't do stockings thinking they probably thought they were a bit childish and they had their own favourite brands etc. There was a general outcry, ''we love getting those stockings!' so this Christmas I did stockings again. I still have a fair stash so I managed to supply each of my girls with a shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, hair mask, face cream, and lip balm from my stash so 4x7=28 items given away!:T

    IN
Despite my saying I didn't want any toiletries I got for Christmas...

    Tesco Luxury Cranberry bathset
No. 7 cleansing oil and nightcream
    Neal's Yard indulgent pampering set

Today I also picked up Boot's Natural Collection waterguard brown/black mascara. I have other mascaras, but in my defence this is my HG being brown-black and waterproof and doesn't irritate my eyes - I thought it had been discontinued its been months since I've seen it - but it seems to be back!:j
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

I love LUSH Cup of Coffee. Will you repurchase it when you have finished it?

Definitely! Not right away as I have so many different face scrubs and masks to get through, but once my stash is back under control I so will!

UU - Elemis Frangipani melt . WBA - lovely scent. Luckily I have more in stock

I have one half used in the cupboard, I like the scent but just need to actually use it up.

    Welcome new ones.

    UU's
1 cinders bath ballistic WBA one of my favourites

2 so white ballistic WBA as above

3 guardians of the Forrest bath ballistic WMBA stunning display of different greens in the bath, took 10 minutes or more to dissolve. But it lost its scent one dissolved.

4 melting moments bath melt oil WNBA I am not a fan of the new bath oils from lush and will not buy anymore.

5 haunt dragonfly sugar scrub WBA shame it is from an American company as it was lovely to use and scented. I will not order from America as duty is about £15 and postage the same so £30 before you pay for the products.

6 xaivita goat milk cream wnba I liked it but got bored towards the end as it was a 70g face cream. Lovely mild lavender scent which I loved, bit Grady but did absorb.

7 bergamo ampoule 13ml WMBA quite a nice thick serum which absorbed well into the skin. Reasonably priced, have one more is stock.

8 ingobeau intense renew serum WMBA lovely serum, absorbed easily seemed to smooth out fine lines but that could be any other product that I use as I use a lot.

9 snow on snow dusting powder to my mom as she loves the snow cake scent and I have 2 of these and they last me ages.
  • I have a TA, found a Mac eyelash primer that was bought in 2011 so it went straight in the get rid pile! Realised this gave me enough to do a Back to Mac though so IN of lippy in Lady Danger, was the only red I don't have of theirs.

Also a GA of an elemis travel toner, it gave me a reaction and a very red face after two separate uses so I've got rid.

    Happy new year ladies.
I'm back in again this year, i think this will be my fifth year
The end of December was a bit of a disaster with about 15 ins and very few uu. I have resisted the sales so far though!

UU to start the new year:
Scottish fine soaps sea kelp moisturiser 30ml. Nice enough, i still have another to uu.
Bee kind shower gel 30ml. I wouldnt buy this, as the scent reminds me of lemsip. I have another one to uu this week.
Avon Advance Techniques Damage Repair 3D Rescue 100ml. This took forever to uu (think years...) and i didn't feel it made much of a difference to my hair. Nice to try but now discontinued by Avon.

I've a few more items that are spluttering so should be uu in the next few days.

Welcome to all newbies, this is a very lovely thread :D
  • Happy New Year

Thanks all for the welcome. :)

    I have decided on my 6 by Spring list;
    1 Benefit dandelion lip gloss
2 Barry M showgirl extra volume mascara
    3 Bare Minerals elation lipstick
4 Max Factor pink petal lip liner
    5 YSL touche !clat
6 Maybelline 24k gold colour tattoo

Apart from the touche !clat and lip liner all other products are virtually untouched only swatched.

Will look at working out my January PP tomorrow.

    PP list
    Olive branch shower gel gone
    Hot toddy shower gel
    Bodyshop ginger shampoo 250 ml
Dolly's peach shower gel 300 ml gone
    8 sheets masks
    2 bubble bars
    10 bath bombs
    Share shara sleep mask
    Clearasil refreshing pads
Lush sugar scrub ( can't remember name)
Christmas fun bar ( again can't remember real name but it's half used)
    Moringa seed toner
    Neitrogena concentrated hand cream
Sure deodorant spray ( don't like it but need to use it up)

    More UU's
10-13 soaps ( a handmade cold pressed soap that I hated the scent of, lush Miranda soap and 2 pieces of spice mountain a very old lush soap which I got in a swap and again don't like) grated to make washing powder.

14 Dolly's shower gel in vanilla cupcake wnba liked it but not my cup of tea, bought them because they were cheap, used as hand wash and to clean the bath.

Surfacing to say I've been reading along.

Resisted the sales so far and wide fed the last year have actually used up more than came in. Down to three full sized shower gels.

Managed to toss things that I was saving in case I change my mind. Yup know the eyeshadow that doesn't quite work, but might someday. Now if it's not right after two tries it's either offered to my DIL or ditched.

Sephora is restricted the on line only. And only if I can get free shipping.

GWPs will always be a weakness because they are packaged so nicely but I'm far more selective.
