No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries January 2016

Hi All,
I will be joining in with this challenge properly this year. I did it off/on throughout parts of last year, but making a spreadsheet to inventory all my stuff has really opened my eyes to how much I have accumulated.
I haven't totalled up the numbers, but will report back here once I have added it all up. I really need to do the same thing for all my make-up as I think this area is just as bad. I have so much lipstick and eye shadow, and it's still growing! I have around 70 nail varnishes too, which I can only wear at weekends due to working in a hospital Monday to Friday! New Year's resolution however will be to paint my toe nails weekly, to help me get through them all.
I am also going to write a 10 item PP List, for toiletries, and come up with a 6 By Spring list, to help me to tackle the make up stash.
Thanks to all who keep this thread running each month, I'm looking forward to having a read through previous ones to look for some ideas to help me tackle the stash!0 -

My PP for January
- Nivea Essential Care lip balm
- mini Benefit eye cream
- Nivea daily essentials day cream (not very much left of this one!)
- Sanctuary 30ml hand cream
- Body Shop peppermint foot lotion
- Lush Cup of Coffee face mask/scrub
The majority of these are at my boyfriend's place, where I spend every weekend and have a bit of a 2nd stash! I sorted out my drawer at his this morning and have a TA - Sainsburys purity body spray. I never liked the smell of it, so not sure why I'm hanging on to it!0 -
Did you used to buy these from QVC? I received plenty of these from the Q in Elemis TSVs. Still have some left. I actually potted some p, let it set and used it on my cuticles.
Haha caught me out - holds hand up - yes I have bought Elemis TSVs. I love Elemis and Molten Brown and ................. :rotfl:
Good idea about using it on the cuticles£2 savers club 2025 #40 -

QVC is still a good place to shop for beauty items as long as you get value from the whole kit they sell. MRM used to buy me multiples of the eElemis Christmas TSVs so that I'd have a stock of PCMC (HG) for the year but I asked him to stop the year before last cos I was drowning in the bath stuff (pun intended!). I think these are now the oldest items in my stash and I will pull them out for use soon.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Yes, this is fine. I've been food shopping and have picked up a replacement Vaseline deodorant as I can't see mine lasting the week. Think I have found my HG at last. Love this for its effectiveness and also because the bottle is glass and I can see how much is left.
Emma has just gone out to work and announced that's she's regifting some Loreal make up I gave her for Christmas as it doesn't suit her skin tone. Is it okay if I join? I've been meaning to do a no-buy for a while and while I'm a little late joining (and starting) I guess having support would be helpful. Can't list my stash of things until I get back home to my uni flat from the Christmas break, but I can at least try to curb my shopping habit before therePicking myself up and trying to stay standing0

One UU to report: Nivea Intense lotion. WNBA as considering it was meant to be an intense moisturiser, I didn't notice any difference between that and regular moisturiser.2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000
