No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries January 2016

Unexpected UU just now, yay.
Tesco softening cocoa butter body lotion 400ml- Wnba generally I love cocoa butter but wasn't keen on the smell of this. I'm not a huge fan of body lotions anyway I do prefer butters. I've had it for about 2 years so it's been a LHJ and over the last few months I've been trying to make a real effort to use it more. Glad I did because now I can move onto other ones in the stash. Replaced with a half used baby lotion (750ml ) that needs using next.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Another couple of UUs that weren't on my list, a bottle of radox muscle soak bubble bath that Dh got for Christmas, and a bottle of tango red shower gel that's lasted ages, Its one I bought for ds2 from holiday last year - there was a pound shop there that had lots of different colour ones.
Will go back to bubble baths in my stash now.SPC~12 ot 124

Finally, another item from the PP list:
Imperial Leather Apple and Pear Shower Gel - I love apple scented products so I thought I was going to like this, but unfortunately I didn't as it wasn't sweet but sour-y. WNBA.
My PP list is going so slowly this month. I can't believe the shampoo and conditioner are still going - been using them for months.
The Lanolips has nearly gone, although this is my first one from a stash that I won in a competition - so lots more to go![STRIKE]Imperial Leather Apple and Pear Shower Gel[/STRIKE]

I like the visual of seeing all my PP items crossed through!
Also have 3 further UU's to report:
Father Christmas Bath Bomb- fizzed well and turner the bath water a gorgeous emerald green colour WBA next Christmas
EL Enlighten Serum 7ml sample- WBA, this sank into my skin so well, and I do feel that my skin has been glowing of late
Darphin Anti-Fatigue Soothing Eye Gel sachet 1ml-WMBA, this sample lasted me 6 days, so was chuffed with that. Did feel nice on the eye area, and I do feel my eyes looked less dark and tired, and the skin felt soft and smooth. My make up also seemed to cake less. Dunno how expensive the full size is though!
Just realised it's Beauty Weekend on QVC  I changed the channel quickly, but not before I saw an advert for OPI tomorrow night  MUST RESIST!!!!!0 -
I think I have frightened myself a little today - I have got most things sorted into categories and have started listing them but the most frightening fact is that I currently have 92 products open and in use so my first target is to focus on using these before opening anything else - alas this does not include nail varnishes or lipsticks. I have done enough for one day but will continue tomorrow.
On the plus side I have made a start:
TA 4 mascaras that I was unsure of how long they have been open
GA 17 bottles of Lynx that OH doesn't like the aroma of and would not use
I have a list of shower products 61 items (groan) but at least I now know where they all are and will start going through them0 -

I have 4 girls between 18-25 so quite often get their rejects. My bathroom shelves still have the results of my youngest s year long quest to find a HG skin routine. She finally settled on going completely natural, OCM,, DIY lemon and oat scrub and moisturizing with coconut oil. Her skin is now amazing! In the meantime I re-purposed lots of things (found her tea tree oil scrub far too harsh for me but great as a foot scrub).
UU
Argan Oil hair treatment - WDBA, I think I may have found my HG hair serum, the packaging could be improved but it works as well as if not better than others I paid triple the price for, and it smells like baby powder (am I the only one who finds the smell comforting?) I still have others to use before I re - purchase however.
I like the sound of the natural skincare for Emma. I saw a video yesterday about homemade oat masks and will suggest today that she makes one. I think the problem is that her night time routine of removing make up is sporadic.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I have a pink candle dilemma folks. Last night I applied Smashbox Fig lipstick as it is similar in colour to my nail colour. It "tasted" funny so I suspect it has gone off. I know it's old - remember exactly when I bought it (04.10.2014 the night Emma and I saw Bruno Mars and bobbed unto Boots beforehand). Thing is that I did rarely wear it but don't want to throw it because I like it and don't have any colour lippie similar to it. Do I chuck it and replace it?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I wondered about this as I have Smashbox lipglosses that are 5 years old and ok. Will email both companies and see what they say. Thanks.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
