I've been reading all the posts and have gone through my stash. I'm a lush addict and my weakness is bath bombs! I also have a shocking amount of nail varnish.

I decided it would be useful to decide how many of each type of toiletry I feel it would be reasonable for me to own considering my teeny bathroom. I've listed next to it what I actually own! These are long term goals but I wanted somewhere to keep the list.

    Toiletries

Toothpaste Goal: 2 Actually own: 4
    Mouthwash Goal: 2 Actually own: 1 :A
Face wash goal: 2 Actually own: 4
Toner goal: 1 Actually own: 3
Face moisturiser goal: 1 Actually own: 9
Face exfoliator goal: 1 Actually own: 1 :A
Face mask goal: 1 Actually own: 2
Skin Blemish treatment: 1 Actually own: 1:A
Soap goal: 5 Actually own: 55
Bath stuff goal: 4 Actually own: 13
Body moisturiser goal: 2 Actually own: 9
Body exfoliator goal 1: Actually own: 0 :A
Deodorant goal: 2 Actually own: 3
    Cooling body spray/mist goal: 1 Actually own: 1 :A
Shampoo Goal: 2 Actually own: 4
Conditioner Goal: 2 Actually own: 4
Hair treatment goal: 1 Actually own: 2
Foot cream goal: 1 Actually own: 3
Foot spray goal: 1 Actually own: 1 :A
Shaving foam goal: 1 Actually own: 3
Hand cream goal: 1 Actually own: 6
Lip scrub goal: 1 Actually own: 1:A
Lip balm goal: 2 Actually own: 4

    Make-up

    Concealer goal: 1 Actually own: 1 :A
Face powder goal: 1 Actually own: 4
Mascara goal: 1 Actually own: 7
    Eyeliner goal: 2 Actually own: 2 :A
Eyeshadow goal: 5 Actually own: 7
Perfume goal: 1 Actually own: 0 _pale_
    Lipstick goal: 4 Actually own: 4 :A
Primer / perfector goal: 1 Actually own: 4
Highlighter goal: 1 Actually own: 2

Stuff I own but don't feel the need to replace when I use up

Hand scrub (I can use face or body scrub in future)
Age spot perfector (I don't even know what this is for)

So I have a soap problem!!! I've run out of perfume because I refuse to buy anything other than my favourite and I don't have the money right now. I am also going to leave counting my nail varnish till tomorrow cause I'm tired. Feels shocking writing it all down - that's a lot of consumerism!!! :o

    UUs
Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE Anti-aging + Intensive Repair Eye Serum sample - WNBA the sample lasted ages but didn't see much of a difference so would not pay the price of this.
Elemis pro-radiance beauty balm 15ml - WBA and am currently using the full size I have in stock. Like the smell and seems to make a difference to my face, it appears brighter,
Urban Decay eyeshadow sample in flash, space cowboy, suspect and bootycall. WMBA but have a few palettes to go through before I think about singles. These shadow seems to stay on my eyes without creasing and last ages.

Welcome. You've made a good start by acknowledging what you actually have and now that you are intent on UUing products you could probably save for your favourite perfume.

  • Just counted my nail varnishes. I have fortyone , three nail hardeners five nail glitters and one nail strengthening oil.

GA buttercup yellow unbranded nail varnish because I have an identical colour in a brand I've tried and trust.

So now down to forty! Still no idea what is reasonable. I love to have a choice with nail varnish but can't wear it to work so will never use forty before they dry up. Will try one colour a week on my toes and hopefully will find some more to give away!

    Good morning ladies.
Firstly, the good news, some UU
    From the PP list:

    LRP effaclar duo + 3ml
No7 sheer temptation lipstick - lovely

Boots extracts vanilla body spray 100ml- i think. This was repurposed as a room spray as vanilla can be hit or miss with me.
    13 UU.

Now, move over on the naughty step, i went to the MrB sale last week. I have been avoiding confessing until now :(

6x mini S&G shower gels from the cracker gift set
4x Boots extracts mini shower gels
    2x No7 lip crayons
7x Sanctuary minis- 4x shower gels, a body scrub, hand cream and moisturiser
1x Beauticology cranberry cupcake bubble bath (being repurposed as shower gel)

Phew, thats it. 22 INs. Takes me to 28 for the month :(:(:(

Welcome hedgesparrow. I've never had a nail polish dry up on me and I have some which are 10+ years old and still perfect.

I repainted my nails last night with Butter London Blowing Raspberries. The last time I did them I used Nails Inc Colville Mews (nude colour) with the bottom of the nail near the cuticle topped with Essie Hor'deuvres, it looked really gorgeous just like a nude dress which is plain at the top and then really glittery and embellished at the bottom.

  • Wow dolly, that sounds fab. I need to try that technique.

Good news about them not drying up. I had some from the nineties that dried up but that was a very long time ago!! They probably have different ingredients now!
