    Another one here who buys nail polish for the colour fix. A very quick count this morning revealed well over 400, but I have been buying them for nearly 15 years and apart from a few brands they will keep well if you wipe the neck of the bottle with remover, so that you get a very tight seal, after each use. I am intending have quite a cull of textures, magnetic and very pale colours that I will not use again. Even if I don't wear many of them very often, I enjoy looking at them and change the ones dispayed in my bathroom around.

    2 UU
    200ml LE IBST 1 of my 2 HG Toners. WBA, have 1 ready to use.
    50ml Gatineau Melatogenine Anti aging cream. Old formulas so cannot buy again, need to get a sample of the newer formula sometime, the old one really did blur the smile lines:D

    1 Lancome Cils Booster XL I am looking forward to trying this as my lashes are a bit feeble ATM, I will use Revitalash again, but not while we are are the cough & cold season - too expensive to have to ditch if I develop an eye infection.

    I've given up painting my nails myself as I'm useless at it and I hate doing it/don't have the time so I now get gel nails every so often which is probably more expensive overall in the year but I don't get them done as regularly as some people so I'm using that to make myself feel better!

    UU for me is a Simple eye make up remover - WNBA - I felt like I was scrubbing to remove my eyeliner/mascara and after a few minutes my eyes were really stingy and began to stream. It looked like I was crying my eyes out!

    I'm going to make a list for Spring - is it 6 for Spring it's called?

    * No 7 - pressed powder
    * Benefit - They're Real mascara - I like this but it's expensive and it's starting to dry up sooner than No 7 mascaras
    * Lacura hand cream
    * Boots Extracts exfoliating wash
    * Bobbi Brown - gel eyeliner
    * Batiste dry shampoo
    #27 £2016 in 2016 = £763.61

    #42 £2 Savers Club = £160

    *Savers Club not included in overall 2016 savings until the tin is opened and my estimates have been confirmed later in the year.

    Birdnerd - I think it was probably that box but that product cannot possibly have won any awards.

    I have some makeup splutterers which were LHJ's so I can't wait until that's done.

    GA today to a colleague - make up forever aqua eyes eyeliner
    I wasn't reaching for it and decided that they might like it more so I gave it to her.

  • Horrible day so I'm running a bath and throwing things into it like a witch with her cauldron. Not as explodey though. Sadly.

    UUs

    4. The ironically named Bar Humbug. This has dyed my thumbs pink from crumbling it under the tap. WNBA. Bah humbug.

    5. Just a soap course sea salt. Left over from my bath bomb experiments. I do love me some epsom and dead sea salts so will be buying those again soon.

    TA:

    6. Veet Easy Wax electrical roll on refill. I got the contraption free for review, used it once, hated it and the refill has sat there ever since. Buh-bye!

    7. yves Rocher Lavender body mist. Never got on great with it, and I've owned it so long that the pump no longer works. Life's too short.

    I too have been getting rid of colours and textured finishes that I don't like.

    I used the Benefit lash primer this morning. My lashes did not look anything like the Benefit model on QVC though!
    Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Another few UU for me:

    Superdrug Dead Sea Purifying Clay Mask 15ml - I really love this on my skin as it always clears up any spots or blemishes. The sachet also lasted 3 uses. WDBA

    Boots Royal Jelly Moisturising Creme Bath 100ml - I can't remember when I got this but it was part of a gift set. I had a bath and used the remainder today. It had a lovely scent. WNBA only because I am phasing out all products with SLS in as I've discovered that my skin is sensitive to it.

    Bath fizzer from gift set - I'm not sure where this came from but it was part of a gift set, possibly Baylis and Harding. I don't think it did much for me so WNBA.

    Impulse Romantic Spark 75ml - I love this scent and have always been a fan of Impulse. WDBA

    Lucia22 I can't resist offers and at £4 you can't go wrong with BS body butters or scrubs. I actually resisted their sale last year but I think I still had body butters from the year before left. I love apple s enter products and I wanted to try their plum scent.

    I love it too :). I can't help myself with Body Shop stuff. The plum scent is really nice. They had an offer on at the Body Shop party I went to in November to get reduced plum stuff with a certain spend so I ordered some of my Christmas presents and I got the Frosted Plum body butter, shower gel and lip balm as an add on for a total of £8. I have another Body Shop party next week so I'll try not to go mad. The cranberry range is also really nice. I had some of the cranberry body butter on before work and scent lingered for at least 5 hours.

    Can anyone here recommend an effective concealer which isn't too expensive? I've noticed that mine is nearing the end of the stick so I'll have to get a new one. I don't want to be lumped with the wrong one and it would be great to try something new.

  • One UU to report:

    One body moisturiser - handmade by me! It was far too greasy, I finished it off on my feet, too much oil and not enough wax. Glad it's gone.
