    Welcome Retomonkey.

I also forgot that there were 3 X sample sachets I UUed too:-

L'Occitane Almond body lotion, L'Occitane Shea body lotion (this has really soothed my dry patches today) and a Clarins Double Serum. Did not like this as it made my skin sticky. Only have 2 X sample sachets left 2 X Crabtree and Evelyn hand creams.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • So far this month I have used up

    shampoo
conditioner - Simple brand, not as good for my hair as Aussie
    soap
    toothpaste
    deodorant

which I probably wouldn't have done without this thread as I usually have several of everything on the go at once.

I will be working my way through all my opened items and will hopefully be able to do a list of what I have left later in the year.

I think I will finish up a moisturiser and an eye cream this month, and perhaps a shower gel.

Now I have to apply the same principles to my cleaning stuff.

Dolly- I know they are so expensive! That's why I'm hoping once I open one that I won't think they are anything special. I can't imagine what I'll do if I decide it's HG status :rotfl:

Just painted my nails a lovely scarlet red. It's a L'Or!al one, Douzen's Red I think. It's very bright and lovely. I really like the brush and formula on these polishes and have quite a few of them now. I also like that the bottle are quite small, I feel like I can get through them quicker. Reality however is that I have never finished a bottle of polish in my life :rotfl: I am determined to this year though!

Finally, and happily I have a UU to report. The Benefit It's (not) Potent sample eye cream is finally gone! Harmless enough, does nothing for my dark circles, but at least it's moisturising under there. WNBA

I have finally got round to listing my 6 by Spring challenge

    Elizabeth Arden blusher pink 04
Lily Lolo Eye shadow duo Simply Slate
GWP size rosy/tawny pink lipstick, name and colour too small to read. Lancome?
    Lancome Hypnose black mascara
    Max Factor Aqualash waterproof mascara
GWP size Clinique High Impact Mascara

Not quite sure why I have 3 mascara on the go at the same time, I do usually have a waterproof one for cold/windy days as it makes my eyes run so.

I am not looking forward to replacing the blusher, I am pale and pasty and need something to warm me up, but anything too dark or heavy and I look like something from the circus:rotfl: It seems that this one has been discontinued:(

Deleted_User - I didn't like Lush American Dream, it was like applying body lotion to my hair and did nothing at all. Funnily enough I love the Match Perfection foundation too, I am using it at the moment and it goes on beautifully and lasts all day.
That's a good way of describing the American Dream. It didn't seem to absorb in any way, just laid on top of my hair. I'm on my fourth bottle I think of Match Perfection. It lasts quite well at work for me, despite the heat and dust. Also, I seem to be able to get away with at least 3 different shades which is good because I sometimes forget which of the ivories I am! I use Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Medium Coverage too but normally just at weekends as it's a bit heavier and looks a bit sad by the end of a work day.

Few ins to declare. My mum misunderstood me when I said I needed to remember to take a couple of things to keep in my desk at work. She thought I meant I needed to buy them and picked me up a few bits when she was in Poundland which was sweet of her.

    7. Garnier Intense Care Moisturising Cream. Quite sweet little pink pot, like a travel Nivea Soft.
    8. St Ives Cleansing Wipes.
    9. derma v10 Intensive Hand Cream.
    10. derma v10 Anti-ageing Hand Cream. I was momentarily offended by this (just joking) but she said she bought it because it had vitamin E and Beeswax in, which are things I like and I was surprised she'd remembered that. I did not inherit my habit from her, she keeps things very simple. Used this already and am liking it. The hand creams are 2 for £1! Well impressed.

So, more ins but no money spent, so that's something! Just cut my tube of primer open so that's nearly gone and my current cleanser is on it's way out too. More UUs soon! :)

Ooooh, I might meet my 10 target for January!

    4) UU - Nivea Express Hydration hand cream. WNBA as not rich enough for my dry skin.

    5) TA - Maybelline Matte Maker pressed powder. I was sent this to review, but I really don't like it so I am not going to attempt to finish it.

If anyone has a foundation they find heavy I would heartily recommend the Real Techniques sponge (their version of the Beauty Blender). I use it with my Tarte foundation and can blend it out to a thinner coverage. I know these have been on rollback at ASDA for a while.
