Another UU for me today: Colgate mini toothpaste. I found three opened mini toothpastes in my sponge bag when I did my big stock take over Christmas so have put two out for using up as we had finished the big pump one we use (although we have plenty more of these in stock).

    One more UU for me.

    5. JLS KISS perfume. Nice scent exactly the same as River Islands London Perfume and Soap and Glory. WBA .Have one more stashed away which is unopened. As I'm getting older I'm not that excited by perfumes anymore so long as I have one decent one for everyday use.

Found out one of my mac paint pots had dried out. i found a few blogs saying melting it can rescue them so I've tired it and I'm waiting for it to cool down so i can check if its worked. apparently, the outside of cream products dries out but the oils and moisture are still contained in the middle of the product so if you give it a good mix or melt it so it can mix, the oils get spread out again and the moisture comes back so you get more life from it. storing all cream products upside down apparently helps with longevity too as you are letting gravity slowly do the "mixing" for you so all my cream and gel eyeliners are now upside down just in case too!

    UU
Algenist eye cream - WNBA nothing special, just bog standard eye cream!
Antipodes avocado oil - WBA, this was really nice and light on my skin
Lyons leaf beauty balm - WBA, and possible HG! i love this stuff! it smells amazing and it was a really good cleanser. its reasonably priced too and you get loads but only need a bit so its economical too! you can also leave it on as a balm too.
Origins - ginzeng eye cream mini - previous HG but not cruelty free
Neom hand cream - repurposed as a body lotion as i was drowning in hand cream! did a very good job and smelt lush :)
Organic surge bath foam - WBA smelt nice but doesn't bubble as much as the neom one does. it is 1/3 of the price though so i can live with that!

    GA
Modster eyeliner in gold - i'm never going to wear this so it may as well go to someone who will!

    TA
3 soaps. these were hotel freebies and are from 2011 and when i looked for one it had started to separate and the oil was pooling on the outside of it. checked the others and they'd all gone the same way so in the bin they went. i didn't know sops could separate but there you go!

    Hi everyone,
I'm back for the challenge and will attempt to do better at keeping up! Went a bit off the rails with buying in the couple of months before Christmas partly, I think as a way of attempting to cheer myself up over some ongoing health issues and partly because I was looking at stuff for other people's presents and ended up buying myself stuff too. There were also ins as gifts from family at Christmas.
Just done a stocktake and I'm in a worse position than I have ever been. Including the UUs I will post my total at starting point is 542

I have UU'd a few bits over the last week though
    1. Lush Sugar Scrub - the solid green one. WBA
    2. Lush So White Bath Bomb - WBA
    3. Maybelline Brow Satin. WNBA. I liked the pencil part but it kept snapping and the powder sponge end is a bit useless.
    4. Lush American Cream Conditioner. WNBA. I like the smell but it did nothing for my hair.
    5. Twig + Dot Sleigh Ride Votive Candle. WBA next Christmas. Burnt well, nice pine scent - strong but not toilet cleaner pine.
    6. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. Already had another and WBA. The one I UU is the old formulation and I think the new one, which I am currently using most days, is even better.
    7. Vichy Sensitive Scalp Shampoo. WBA. Soothed the discomfort on my scalp.

I've got a couple of INs from the sales/offers.

1-2. Make Up Revolution palettes in Salted Caramel and Pink Fizz. These were buy one get one half price and even though I have more palettes than I can ever use, I have been restrained (for me!) over the last six months.
3-6. Sanctuary gift set half price in Boots sale. Worked out the same price to buy this as to buy the body butter on its own. Had body butter, bath foam, hand cream and body scrub. I like this scent and I bought it with points not cash.

I have a couple of other sale items ordered and will count them as they arrive. I'm not going to completely abstain from buying in the sales but tbh I haven't seen too much else I fancy.

I may come up with a PP but am definitely putting money away again. I will be doing £1 for each full size UU, 50p for a mini and 20p for a sachet/sample. Also any money made from sales but nothing for TA or GA.

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend. I'm going to catch up on what people have been buying in the sales and live vicariously!

Thanks for well wishes VALM and Daisy :)

VALM I have and love, the In the Light palette, so beautiful *swoon*

I have 4 INs to declare, and I'm super excited by them! You see I won one of Caroline Hirons Christmas give-away competitions! I couldn't believe I had won, as I never really win anything.

I won a collection of 4 cleansers from Tata Harper. The 4 of them have a value of over £200 apparently :eek::eek: That's a lot of money for 4 cleansers, so I'm expecting miracles when I go to use them. :rotfl: They're upstairs and I'm downstairs so I don't have the exact names of the 4 of them, but will list them properly once I can grab them.
  • Congrats Eyebright! What a great win!

Deleted_User - I didn't like Lush American Dream, it was like applying body lotion to my hair and did nothing at all. Funnily enough I love the Match Perfection foundation too, I am using it at the moment and it goes on beautifully and lasts all day.

    I have some ins

Leighton Denny Nail Polish Remover - this is the one in the pot that you put your finger in, I've had one before and it was very good and lasted ages.

    Anatomicals You Need a Blooming Shower 300ml x 2
    Essie Good to Go
Duwop mini lipstick trio in red, cherry and cherry noir.
First Aid Beauty Cleanser with Red Clay.

I've also used up a Yankee Candle mini jar in Candy Cane Lane, this smelt nice but it didn't burn well and wasted a lot of wax.

I've applied PK Elasticizer to my hair mixed with Wonder Oil as a pre wash treatment, the oil smells amazing, I will shampoo it out in a bit when I get in the shower, it really helps the dryness.

I learned the hard way tonight that body shop cranberry body polish can be dangerous (at least in my hands haha). I've no idea how but some of it flicked into my eye. I washed it out the best I could for ages but oh my god, it killed. It's still hurting now :-/ and I have a bright red eye. So yes, don't get body scrub in your eyes people!! :o:o:o

No more UU currently, I have a few annoying products on their last legs that just won't end! And I did try to be extra generous this evening. Lip butter, the aforementioned scrub and a shower gel and shower foam, moisturiser and eye cream. I need to get in my stash boxes and dig out a heir mask and conditioner fir my swimming kit to replace items UU as I'm planning to swim tomorrow night.

Eye bright that's a fab win, congrats!! :)
