2016 - No Clutter To Be Seen

I've just had a quick read through this thread, it's very inspiring. I read the KonMarie book last year and have been trying to declutter ever since, but I've found it difficult. I have two very young children and they grow out of stuff every five minutes, so I seem to have a constant stream of 'stuff'.
I've been throwing things out, donating, selling and passing on, but the amount of stuff never seems to descrease!? I don't know if anyone else feels that way. I did sort one carrier bag full of baby clothes for the charity shop today, so some progress I guess. I may join in with this thread, I like the idea of listing everything, so maybe that will help me see I am getting rid of things - even if it doesn't look like it!0 -
Hi KitKatMum - we'd love to have you join us.
... and yes - I can totally identify with what you say about the amount of stuff never seeming to decrease.Shifting my energy for 20200 -

Still plugging away.
Few more bits sold tonight on eBay so the pile is now down to three boxes!
Have just spent two weeks massively decluttering my craft space - have a HUGE box now to split up for more eBaying. Decluttered three rolls of Fablon covering the shelves on shelf units too.
Spent this evening reducing craft supplies more by making boxes for already made cards. Also digitised and shredded some paperwork - so much easier to deal with like this.
Have also got three boxes ready for the charity shop to collect but will be adding more to this over the next week when I "deal" with the airing cupboard. I expect to have quite a few towels and bedding sets to go. Will split between eBay and the local homeless shelter.
This time, i CAN see the difference and the space from craft declutter. Not sure if this is allowed but if anyone is interested there is a brilliant lady on YouTube who I follow, great for hints and general enthusiasm to keep you going. Her channel is called "Doitonadime". Recommended viewing for declutterers like us! Well done all.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

It seems I have stumbled across all these challenge threads too late! I am in serious need of a declutter. I am trying to do a room a week (thorough declutter and clean) in the countdown to Christmas. Hope you don't mind me joining in at the end. Hopefully will keep me on track for the rest of the year.Sometimes you just have to throw on a crown and remind them who they are dealing with0

It's never too late to join, welcome and good luck with your decluttering plans. Everyone here has different ways of doing it and how they record it. For me seeing it written down really helps me see just what I have achieved.
