1030. Green wheelie bin full of garden waste
1031. decomposed wicker chair - bin

Interesting "what to count mini-discussion" - I totally agree, as with all of these challenges it's what motivates someone personally isn't it? For example filling a green bin full of garden waste would be normal for some people but for me it's sheer effort & is linked with my goal of making my garden less of an eyesore (I'm getting there!!) . On the other hand - filling a wheelie bin of mixed recycling is just business as usual for me so I don't count it.

My personal rule of thumb for this challenge is "is it over and above what I'd naturally discard on a day to day basis?" :). I'd be really interested to know what other people's "rule of thumb" is & why? I'm fascinated with people's motivations... (& a little bit nosy :rotfl:),

  • What a shame about the spa day Fiasco - sounds like you made the best of the situation though & have the spa day to look forward to for another time :)

    From yesterday:

    1032. dead pillow - bin
    1033. shoes - CS
    1034. dead shoes - bin
    1036 & 7 - 2 x sandals - CS

I moved my bedroom round yesterday & can get to the under bed storage more easily - hence the footwear culling... :) I'm feeling unusually bright this morning so will get back onto the decluttering again today.
