Hi all,
Hugs to those who need them, especially Csarina X
We woke several times last night due to wind and rain, I,m sure at one point we had hailstones, but it bright and clear this morning and no flooding or damage in this area, so we are are very grateful.
Have I missed a reply from Trolleyrun - hope she,s(he,s) okay.
Just had a Mr S delivery, another £10 off a £50 spend, so bought loads of cat food and basics - no new voucher, so I,ll be back to Aldo till Sains reward me again
Teens are out tonight, we,re having a nice meal and a glass of wine, watching a couple of films.
Take care all XNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

DD drove me out of town so I could get to shops and I now am stocked up with fruit, veg, eggs, bacon, milk and chicken and pork steaks as well as some things for the freezer. We had a large healthy brunch before we set off so I don't have to do much tonight
other than turn the bolognese I made yesterday into a lasagne.
Family are coming round tomorrow for a late lunch so planning baked salmon, home made spiced chicken , SW chips. lots of green veg and maybe a dip.

Welcome Chanie
Hugs to Csarina & Floss.
BIL (one of the nice ones) met up with hubby yesterday, he is going on holiday soon for a month and so we will be picking up the slack with FIL and defending him from the nasty BIL, so that will be a stressful month to look forward to.
Shenanigans with the will still ongoing and with the memorial plaque, deep joy all round.

I have tried to distance myself from what is going on, then get accused of not caring and not helping distraught grand children!! What about a distraught family who have lost a son and brother, it appears we just do not figure in anything.
I do not even know where the two youngest grandchildren live......their mother told my son she did not want them to have anything to do with any of us.......eldest GD is the one who is causing all the aggro.......I have stopped looking at my facebook page. I am going to block her once the funeral is over. I just cannot cope with the vile vitriol that is coming from her. I will get even more condemnation for doing that. Tough.0 -

I was awake from 4 this morning but managed to drop off again for a while.
The fish have been fed, Mr Grumpy has a cup of tea in bed, I have one beside me.
I want to tidy my bedroom today, that's if Mr Grumpy gets up at all.
Then it will be back to the crochet I'm aiming to complete 64 small circles today.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Welcome aboard CHANIE, pleased to meet you!
So many Mr Grumpies on here at the moment, what's got into all these hubbies? I am lucky I suppose as Mr TA is very rarely grumpy. (Despite being married to me!!)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

. And totally spoiling ourselves by making up a (large!) jug of Aperol Spritz and pretending we are sitting on the lakeside in Northern Italy! (Well we can dream!) The Aperol, Prosecco and soda are already chilling in the fridge!
