Or are they not known for removing fake comments?
I've reported each of the fake reviews - it certainly wouldn't hurt for more reports to be made. It will be interesting to see if Amazon act on them.0 -
Reported also, will everyone else report them and see if Amazon will remove them?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Slightly off topic, I saw this review yesterday - that bloke has a great sense of humour:

Also, the sugar free Gummy Bear feedback on the US and UK sites is hilarious:

I've got to buy those gummis!
They're the only sweet my husband eats. I could give him these when he's really naffed me off :eek:0 -
There's crowdsourcing websites where people will leave a review on your product for pennies. You can usually spot it when they're very short reviews like "great product!".0
-
I would report them , as they may also be sellers of dodgy goods and , if traceable, could be banned from selling.
I wish that reviews required the name of the seller, as looking at reviews for branded batteries, with a normally good reputation, I noticed a number of people saying they bought obvious fakes or batteries which lasted just a few days.
It would be good to know the baddies, in order to avoid them, as the reliable place I bought my last ones from , at a very good price, no longer sells them.0 -
Ive sent the seller a message asking them when they are going to remove their fake reviews.0
-
I always sort review by most helpful reviews.
If the most helpful positive ones are uninsightful and there is no meaningful negative review, then I treat the product as if it's unreviewed - with caution but might still buy. The way I see it, trying to get a product noticed does not automatically mean it's a wrong 'un. Whether it's worth a punt really depends on the nature of the item. Electronics, grocery or cosmetics would be a definite no; storage, certain clothing or cheap novelties/apps at a good price perhaps.
If there is a well written, verified critical one and a small bunch of unverified "yay!" type positives, I avoid like the plague no matter how tempted.0 -
only amazon reviews you can trust 80% are the ones that are verfied even so could be company buying the products i been ripped off via amazon third party seller NEVER buy from em0
-
You can't assume that all non-verified are fakes though. I often buy elsewhere but put a review on Amazon.
I think it's quite easy to identify those that are definitely fake, and these jumped out at me. I have reported them to Amazon who have taken no action, and I've also emailed the seller to ask when they were going to remove their fake reviews. I don't expect any answer from the seller.0
