:rotfl:Only read this far up the posts when Slinkys post caught my eye. I had just checked my diary and I had my radiator removed in march and I have also filled the skirting boards etc and thats as far as I have got with it as well :rotfl:So you are not on your own with the rushing to finish something I am also guilty as charged ;) But does it really matter ? Nope it really does not .

Hmm, strange coincidences continue, it was the removal and replacement of the kitchen radiator which resulted in the holes (however this was done about 2 years ago now, we only managed to make a start on the repairs in March :rotfl:). New radiator is smaller than the old one, however it sits closer to the wall so it'll be a challenge to paint behind it. Not bothered about getting total coverage, just want to be able to paint all that can be seen. Would like to get it sorted before Christmas :D

    :) Afternoon all.

Smiling about the radiator-removal holes. Not that I've ever done anything like that (innocent whistling smilie).

Had a decent night's sleep, went to w*rk and then home and dropped off work bag and picked up pre-loaded wally-trolley and did a chazzer run. I'm pally with the staff and manager in this particular shop and am sometimes invited to take a cuppa with them if it isn't too busy.

I've told them to expect to see me about that time of day for at least the remainder of this week and probably all of next week, also.

Saw some of Nan's things up in the shop and felt no emotional attachment to them whatsoever. Just glad that they will be into the hands of someone who can get the use of of them.

mavvy, wonderful how you were able to enjoy your family visiting without stress, thanks to your kondo'd household. It's what it's all about, isn't it? We declutter in order to live better and easier lives.

Righty, just going to prep the wally-trolley for tomorrow's run, then it's putting my feet up with a cuppa and a good book. Bought it yesterday, already a third of the way read, will have it in the donation bag so fast it'll get dizzy.

Oh, and a freegle pickup whilst I was out (outdoor hidey hole) and another due tomorrow and another some point in the next couple of days. All things which came to the city yesterday.

Got a few more things which went onto freegle yesterday afternoon which haven't yet been requested but it's early days, hope someone will want them.

Question for all the pet owners out there: how do you keep your sofas clean?

I have standard bedsheets over my sofa and chairs to protect the fabric. Somehow, my little darlings manage to cross the supposedly suck-it -all-up door mats, the carpet and the rug, and still manage to leave lots of muddy pawprints over the sheets.

    Do you have TEFL*n sofas?

I have a cat that barely sheds hair! Mind you the previous one was a fluff-machine.

Throws on the sofas which are washed regularly.

I could wash the sheets 3 times a day! My cats love to do a Jackson Pollock over the furniture.

    I hoover my mother's cat...
  • Buy soft furnishings with paw-print fabri?. :rotfl: I have old duvet covers/throws over the sofa ans spare bed, mainly because of the Jackson Pollock effect mentioned above! Cat is only allowed in the lounge when I'm in there.

The best way to get pet hair off soft furnishings is to put rubber gloves on, wet them slightly and then rub your hands over the upholstery.

The floof I can cope with ( vacuum cleaners), it's the mud that bothers me. I did try the pet wet wipes when I got them, but they were adult adoptees, so too old to take to them. I was hoping someone would have a fantastic trick.

YouCat has brought in a small dead squeaky this morning.

I managed not to tread on the dismembered corpse this time.
