:) Indeed, my life was transformed when I learned this little hack. I tend to do this every time I empty the hopper on my shredder and on the one in my pal's office.

Poor little shredders, they work so hard and almost no one thinks to give them a little TLC; they get flogged to death and then replaced with a new one. It's a wicked shame, isn't it?

Will be doing very little tonight (v.tired) but will find time for a little bit of personal admin, accounts etc. Nothing too onerous.

Have finally released my faithful black leather knee-boots today - they were bought to make a statement to my separated husband in 1999, worn with a shortish black skirt and a bright red jacket for DS2s confirmation. They've been worn several times a week for the last 16 years, but when I wore them today I accepted that they are no longer comfy :( sadly I thanked them & chucked them, as the inside soles are worn through to the many-times-replaced outer sole  :o

    Morning all

Slinky my fave comment has to be that their mum inherited one that she hated and was relieved when it got smashed by a football. A perfect example of it doesn't bring you joy let it go.

    Painting again this morning.
It's national smile day (apparently) so make sure you do something joy bringing

How's this for Woo? I put my redundancy money into premium bonds (I know it's not a good investment in the long term but it wasn't that much!!) and when I checked on line this morning I have won 2 x £25

National smile day is off to a good start in this house! :D

Right, had a very rare lie-in but now it's full steam ahead. Look out world, here I come!

    Wow, Karmacat, congratulations!

I've kondoed the stupid task of asking my old church to send my details to my new church. It's only been preying on my mind for a year!

I've taken down the box and the large bag of winter gear down from the attic. I will ask dds and dh to pick two each for this season and then kondo the rest to the secondhand store in time for winter sales.

Well done MMF007. Certainly much better return than the interest you'd have got from the bank.

Ill certainly accept that as raising a smile slinky.:j

In the rather bizarre world of MrsMP I'm listening to frank turner on Spotify just undercoated the kitchen door frame and now grabbing a quick coffee before work. I'm smiling because its joy bringing for me. And in the words of Frank turner we can get better because we're not dead yet.

Hoping to gloss the attic hatch and frame this afty if the u/c is dry enough.

    I'm so easily pleased aren't i:rotfl:
