    Morning all

Well done, everyone. In the words of young Mr Grace "you're all doing very well".... (ask your parents :rotfl:)

Not much kondoing for me, but i do need to spend a short time tidying and dusting. But, looking around, I think it will be a short time - not the hours and hours it would have once been.

You've all inspired me to cut my carbs right back for a few days so i am looking forward to a breakfast of sauteed veggies and a couple of eggs :T
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Am impressed with all the weight loss, well done all and hope to shed some soon myself. There's only about 10lb to get rid of, but it's a recent gain over last winter and it feels uncomfortable and annoying, so it's time to make an effort.

Presents from stash delivered to DD for her birthday, so another space made.

Wondering what I can kondo next...

    Have a lovely day

7 bags of recyclable paper and card and two black bags of rubbish outside. Folder of paper that can go in the wet play box at school. 3 folders of as new plastic page holders can go to school along with a stack of animal photo mags that may be ok for collage work. A pile of shredding to do this afternoon that can then be recycled. Leaving just 1/2 a small shoebox worth of stuff to go back up in the attic for dd2.
Really pleased with this mornings kondoing achievements.

A skip arrived this morning for the old dismantled kitchen units and appliances and I kondoed the built in wardrobe that had been dismantled to one of the builders for his new flat.

Once the kitchen is finished I will be able to start unpacking removal boxes and sorting out what is useful or sparks joy. A large box will be earmarked for charity and youngest dd wants to see if there is anything she can use when she comes back for the weekend next week.

Some of the weight I had kondo ed came back over the last week but under the circumstances I am not too upset as once I have luxuries like a running tap, a sink. and cooking and laundry facilities
I should be able to get back on plan.

I have found a charity that will collect furniture so will bear that in mind to get rid of a sofa etc.

Been to dentist and noticed they keep a supply of children's books in the waiting room, so next time DD has a clear out of the g/kids early years books, I will take a bagful there.

Reading all the successes about low/no carbohydrate diets I have been looking at how much carb I eat :eek: I don't think I could do no carb but I'm definitely going to cut down a substantial amount & see how I go. Must admit I dont have any specific health issues but my energy levels are not what they could be - we shall see.
Still not managed much Kondoing as RL keeps getting in the way but cunning plans are forming so hope to be able to put some in place tomorrow as at the moment it looks like a free day.......:rotfl:

Kondo'd the last cleaning / home help stint of the week. Guess what? I was given a £20 tip! As an ex-public servant this is amazing to me. We were not allowed to accept gifts no matter how small and if someone sent us flowers as a thank you we had to leave them in the office, rather than take them home. So I really appreciated this gesture. I have worked quite a few hours for this client and done a very wide range of jobs, not only cleaning, and she said it has helped her anxiety so much, that she wanted to show her appreciation. It made my day!

Off to post Dad's present so he gets it before Sunday!

Oh, forgot, I kondo'd a lovely white damask table cloth that we will neversuse to my friend who is a fantastic seamstress - she can make use of the fabric. It felt so good to release it so it can be useful rather than have it stuffed at the bottom of our linen stash (housed in suitcase as we have no cupboard space, or room for a cupboard!). It was so wasteful leaving it struggling not to die in storage.

Low carbing contiues, easily, with sliced cooked lamb, left over green beans and salad with a drizzle of thyme- infused olive oil for lunch. Dare I say it, bacon, egg and mushrooms for tea! :D
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

3 Binders of plastic sleeves, along with a few bits for the treat box, a weaving loom that's never been used and a couple of small cuddly toys for the forthcoming fete all taken to school at lunchtime.
Once Dh had gone back to work the attic called me back in. I did take up the box for the guitar ds1 has just bought but I've bought down a load of smaller cardboard boxes and 5 more bags full of paper to recycle.
Going back up now for another hour to bring down some that needs shredding and anything else that wants to come down with me.
    I'm enjoying this.
