    Hi all,

Firstly can i add my condolences to the sad loss of iQueen, inspirational lady.

So as a catch over last week or so which is flying by we have:

Managed to support my daughter getting through her exams.

Trips to Dump x 3 disposed of fridge, wardrobes, detritus and table.

Removed cooker to our garage in prep for it being put into my kitchen.

This will involve moving kitchen units but we're on to it.

    Kondoed Paperwork - UGH.

This was surprisingly much more time and emotion consuming than I thought. We've had a major family issue that's been running for a few years now and a lot of 'stuff' brought back sad memories.

However I realised the value in letting go of the grief, so gone, gone, gone.

Not such good news, Hubby was nearly killed at the weekend when some idiot (expletive x 10) drove into him on the motorway. His motorbike is damaged beyond repair, he has a very sore leg and hip.:(

But he's alive which is the main thing.

As we were off camping, it was lovely to pack neatly and in no panic type state which is what I normally do. I also was able to readily find and pack food that I had bout for camping and also arranged it all neatly in my little boxes at the camp site. it usually is a complete mishmash of mess.:o

However forgot the spare gas bottles and ran out on the third day :rotfl: (they had been packed into my hubby's car and we transferred everything to my car.

Received £5.00 to spend in Ikea (from Ikea) as it was my birthday and bought a camping pan, a lidded box and some napkins.

I went to a car boot as was on a mission to find a cast iron pan (I collect them) and found a lovely Le Creuset for £4.00 :D

Why is this significant? Because the lady also had two other cast iron pans which were lovely and dementedly cheap BUT I didn't buy them as I knew I wouldn't use them as I had the one I needed.:D:T

So far we have made roughly around £150, without really trying too hard, with car boot and ebay sales. This has included two of my 7 filofax's

This I have to get on to more and will do today re ebay and we have a garage full of car boot stuff, however rain has stopped play.

Onwards. Have a lot of business related stuff to attend to today and some decisions regarding which direction I wish to go in.

After a busy day at work got home with sore feet and aching back and bizarrely bloated despite having had lunch 6 hours ago! And I only had a sandwich and a yoghurt! As dh s tea was already sorted I went in to conservatory which was boiling with the sun on it and lay on the couch, and dozed a bit.
This morning I still don't feel hungry and was tired so had decided to have a relaxing day when I logged on here and read what you'd all been busy with!
Needless to say it inspired me to get my lazy a** in gear. I have now hoovered all through and mopped all downstairs.

So thank you all for your inspiration, I know whenever I check these posts I get the urge to sort myself out :T
Pavlov that door storage is great I have a plastic add*s style basket tacked inside mine with my sponges and j cloths in!

    Happy birthday silvasava :bdaycake::

Triker glad hubby is ok it must have been terrifying for you.

It's forcast rain today which I think the rest of the country had already but still quite sunny so will plant up some plants I picked up yesterday as the hanging basket I did at weekend is looking a bit sparse!

Oh Trikers - so glad your DH is OK. My DH rides a trike and I've seen first hand how thoughtless some drivers are towards motorbikes.
I remember DH telling DS2 at 16 that it didn't matter who was at fault in a bike accident - the biker would always be the one to get hurt.
Unwanted Birthday bits already in the CS bag! Need to get my Arris in gear so see you all later x

    Morning all

Trikes so glad your DH is alright (apart from recoverable injuries and soreness-which I hope heal soon)

Hope everyone else is as well as can be.

Currently putting finishing touches to some knitting projects.

Still wading through paperwork but getting distracted by other things that want to go.

If so can I kondo them onto you for her when I next come over. I've knitted them using new wool and they have polyester stuffing that carries the European standard EN17, BS5665, the CE logo, cleanliness BS1425 and fire safety BS5852. There are 10 of them.

Thank you, I followed a pattern, they aren't my own design. I love crafting but don't necessarily want to keep everything so it brings me joy helping good causes while I craft.

    :) They look gorgeous, mrs-moneypenny.

Triker, phew, what a narrow scrape for your DH, must have been a terrifying experience. Good wishes for his prompt recovery and :mad::mad: on the careless driver.

Been to work, popped in briefly at a friend's shop and then home, changed clothes then up to the allotment. Watered cold-frame which has been left to its own devices since last Thursday evening. Will have to be transplanting those runner beans any day now, they're trying to climb outta there.

Had a rummage in my shed for some bits of hardware to assist in the bean-rigging. Have the 4 screw-eyes I need, not matching each other but will do the job, and will use cordage I already own (and can find!) rather than buying new stuff.

Hit up a sweet spot on the old YS on the way home and have managed to get some premium outdoor reared pork sausages well-reduced and have some on the grill right now, with the rest frozen. Pretty pleased with that haul.

And have fresh herbs and saladings off the allotment and all is well. All I need now is another 5 hours in the day, every day, and the strength to do something with them.:rotfl:
