Well done on doing the caravan Silvasava
I've cleared my ironing basket this afternoon/evening all is now neatly folded and some hung.
Didn't get my hair done as hairdresser got a call to go for another bloodtest so had to cancel again. Maybe I'm meant to just let it go grey. Lol.SPC~12 ot 124

one of my colleagues was talking today about the need to declutter... I need to enlighten him!
Too funny.
The first day I was over at the folks, Mum remarked in passing that she'd heard/ seen something in the media about this woman who had immaculately organised and labelled cupboards and how it was so sad.
I said nowt. Several days later, the BCofD was immaculately organised and labelled and she was THRILLED.:rotfl:
This Cupboard has several over-door hangers roosting on it, plus a conventional door hook on the outside of it. I left it with two small bags hanging on the inside and nothing on the outside. Mum went to put something else on the door and decided it was too perfect as it was and just left it plain. Will whoever has stolen the real Mum please treat her gently.:D
Going to be working today but have a plan for a chazzer drop-off late this afternoon which involves two bagfuls. There will still be other things left here, but these, plus the freegle pick-ups, will mean the volume of Stuff fetched from parental home is about 50% of what it was on Wednesday.
I can see progress. Still can't see most of the floor in the bedroom and sitting-room, but I am choosing to call it progress. Plus I have decluttered the extra pound in weight that I acquired by stuffing my face at the family home over the long weekend..........:oEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Feel utterly shattered this morning. I've been reading the old thread and last night read a lot of GQ's loft clearance from last November. This triggered a dream about my Dad which involved my sibling having moved out of his house (at last) and me helping Dad lay new carpets. DD passed away nearly 7 years ago. Sadly sibling is still living in Dad's house, surrounded by 60 years of clut, including some of mine I'm not allowed access to.
Felt very sad that Dad wasn't able to live in a tidier home, despite sibling having somewhere else to live and Dad would have preferred to be alone but sibling wouldn't go.
Feeling overwhelmed by my work situation, don't think me and OH are on the same page regards retirement goals. Have nobody to talk things through with as friend who would understand has terminal cancer and other friends wouldn't really understand.
Ho hum, the sun's out, just got to get on with things for today. OH will be home later, yay!Make £2025 in 2025

Morning all
I have all wooden coathangers yes they do take up loads of space but works for me as I cant keep buying stuff as it wont fit in my wardrobe as it would if I had the skinny flock hangers :rotfl:But they are a great idea and looks so much better when all the hangers are the same very joy sparking for me. If you have a QD store near you they do a box of 50 of the flock ones for £12.99 and they look good quality to me.:D
As the weather is nice I have decided to wear all my joy sparking clothes everyday and dont care if they are more suited for a wedding :rotfl:So yesterday I wore a floral dress dressed down with a denim jacket. with Pink shoes and a hat which is a pale lime Green with a baby Pink band :rotfl:Sounds awful but I am my biggest critic and even if I say so myself it looked pretty stylishThe dress pulled it all together which was more luck then judgement.
My cross beak chook needs her beak cut and filed today. She was a rescue who nobody wanted because of her cross beak and there beaks grown and hook over so they cant eat.But I love her she is hard work but worth it. Her name is Turks as she is the size and shape of a medium turkey (so massive in Chook terms)So we have a love hate relationship she hates me while I do it but loves it when its done and she can eat more
So I tell her she is having her beak kondoed and to be brave
Reading this back OMG I sound so flipping odd :rotfl:Do I care nope not one bit.
So if you see a mad lady wearing a Lime and Pink hat with what looks like a Turkey under her armYes yes that will be me.Dont worry . Its normal for Norfolk

Do you mind if I ask what the space saving coat hanger s are, my wardrobe could really do with them, have already taken loads to charity shop but still not enough space for everything?mrs-moneypenny wrote: »Sandy not sure if they are the same ones as Wednesday means but I got some of the thin flock/velvet covered ones. They a much slimmer than normal hangers and things don't fall off them. In Ts they ar 20 for £10 and wilkinsons have bundles of 5 for £3. The wilkinsons ones are a bit dearer but they are a slightly different design and seem a bit better quality. The basic shape/quality is the same but the wilkinsons ones have an extra support bar across the part below the hook for hanging matching scarf/ belt on.
Yes, they sound quite similar to my ones. I bought these ones from Amazon. JVL Thin Velvet Touch Space Saving Non-Slip Coat Hangers, Black.

Well done you.
I decided this morning to go for joy sparking so fished out a top with 3/4 length sleeves and a coordinating T shirt to go under it for some warmth. But I feel so damned cold still I'm going to have to put a fleece on over the top to keep warm. Seeing that I live in fleeces for about 8 months of the year, they don't spark the joy the stuff underneath it does. At least I've shed the thermals for the first time since the start of October.Make £2025 in 2025

Hugs to slinky and karma. Could you write some of it here? We don't judge....
No kondoing here, but I did just get my bike out of the newly tidied garage. Goodness but it was a joy to behold...
I may try to kondo some weeds from the garden this pm.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
