I would second using a local independant tyre place. My supplier here beats online quotes. For some wee jobs like swapping wheels round they don't always charge so good to build and maintain a relationship with them.
Blackcircles et all aren't very good when you get a puncture.
  • I've decided to go for the Toyo T1-R tyres with Halfords Autocentre for £127 for 2.

They currently have an offer of £20 off a pair of tyres if anyone is in the market for new tyres and they were the cheapest around my area.

    Thanks for all your feedback.

You go out an buy a Fiesta ST and then let it go into a Halfords?

Did you get some new blue LED side light bulbs too?

I would double check the price for the Toyos before buying at Halfords.

Though most Halfords service places where bought out an rebranded as Halfords.

The one near me used to be Grays Autocentres.

Blackcircles do a fully fitted price as do MyTyres.

If you se based in East London or Essex then consider EliteDirect in Rainham and The Tyre Shop near Walthamstow Dog Track.

    Done a quick check online.

BlackCircles can in at £128 fitted so Halfords seem like a good deal as you usually have to wait a few days with BlackCircles or MyTyres.

e-tyres once came & fixed a puncture at work for me for £10 so they are on my shortlist for next tyres.

Also I noticed that National Tyres have a massive saving - eg 30% - on many good brands if you order online to your fitting branch. The difference was so large that it stopped me dead from dropping into the local National branch for a quick pair of tyres. I put the spare in place of the worn one and going to do some more comparison instead. National also had vouchers online for a £15 front tracking.
