    Diaries
card factory has all their stock in. Really good prices and a good range, the ones near here anyway. I got two calendars for a pound and also a handbag diary and a big chunky one for £1 each. Usually get them before this point in the year. They were late in. Everyone thinks I'm weird for buying them early. Though to me this isn't early. So I'm glad you're all weird along with me ;)

My local Card Factory sells out of the calendars by the beginning of December, so I always buy my calendar and handbag diary early.

I've had a bit of a buying frenzy recently. My 'dry' bargain spell has meant I haven't done as much as I would have liked, so I'm playing catch up. I raided Wilk0s and bought some stocking fillers for the children today.

Hmmmm any idea if they're still on offer Mum2one? I like having a spare stash of gifts like this for when I forget people and for neighbours (we live in the country side and when there is much spreading it's a bit of a village joke LOL)

I was in town today, buying some back to school stuff and popped into Card Factory. I bought Xmas gift bags, money wallets, stickytape, a calendar and a diary.

I also bought a couple of Xmas purchases:

Luggage tag - MIL likes going on holiday, so I thought it would be an appropiate gift, to help identify her luggage. I would have loved to have bought a real leather one with her name engraved on it, but MIL would see it as a waste of money, so I got a novelty one.

Pjs - I always buy new Xmas eve pjs for the children. Most stores still have their summer pjs in stock, but I found some winter ones with a character that DS is really in to. I showed them to OH and he really wanted to give them to DS now in case he was into something new by Xmas. This is why I don't tell OH what I've bought, as he will want to give the gift early!!!

Fold up shopping bags - peacocks had an area by the till filled with fold up bags for £1.50. I bought leopard print ones for my mum and sister. I have one from IKEA, which I use loads. I know neither of them would think to get one, so hopefully it will help them to cut down on plastic bag usage.

A heads head when we were in Clintons the lady there said in the next week or so the Art Deco range is going half price.

I've treated myself to a new tattoo, it's a blue rose with the stem and leaves from the stem its got dad wrote on it, he loved roses and blue was his fav colour.

Had the same tattooist that did my others we worked out it was 16yrs ago he did my 1st one and it's been 13 yrs since my last - he recognised me as soon as walked into the shop... Xx

  • Sorry not been in forever.
    Hope everyone is well
I've been up to my ears with decorating and tidying. Christmas stuff has been sorted through tidied and I've written a list of what I have with a view to using as much as I can from the stash this year.

My mil always asks for the dairy diary pack from her milkman (from one of the grandkids) then she gets persuaded to buy one from the ringtons tea man she always tells me it's for a friend for Christmas then I see her sneaking it into the recycling mid summer.
