It must be so hard for you all
  • Hope you're getting support and help in organising it all for Thursday. I know keeping busy can help, but i hope you're getting some time to relax and to yourself too.

I just saw an ad for QVC's Christmas in July, and they've already got items listed on the website
    http://www.qvcuk.com/home-&-kitchen/christmas/_/N-lfpz/c.html
I really could watch this stuff all year around, but seeing a mention of this makes me a little giddy and once it's on is my excuse to really start planning and looking forward to it. Even worse, i usually book the day off work and use a holiday day to sit and watch it, dig out the christmas magazines and cook books while watching and start making plans. It'll be a very different one this year. The bump will be here and i can go even more OTT :)

    Xmas Saver!
Were slowly getting sorted, think I've done all the calls and business side of things that I need to do for now, just awaiting paperwork to come back to me.

I'll be honest and say its not really sink in, whether Thursday will make it more real, I don't know.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for your kind words, its meant a lot xxxx

    Santas Challenge - May

Apologies in advance, that its a smaller than normal challenge...

    Smoke Alarms
Dont forget to give them there monthly check, quick dust down

    Weather
Hopefully we should get some more sun, don't forget Suntan lotion, even on a windy day - get burnt..

    Swimwear
This may sound mad, I tend to find that most shops concentrate on Swimwear at the start of season, come September theres not the best of choices (usually the expensive ones...) if you need swimwear, have a look around now

    Medicine / First Aid Kit
Hopefully were working away from the coughs and colds, the warmer weather reminds of sandals / trainers - usually means blisters... whether thats plasters or padding, see what there is.

    Bank Holiday - Rubbish Collections
Dont forget NExt Monday is the bank holiday, - in our area it knows the rubbish collection a day later, - check whats happening in your area, (dont risk a fine for being early or dont miss the collection)

    Cars
Give the car a check up, windscreen wipers, water in radiator, screen wash... have some-one to stand at the back of the car and check brake lights / etc

    Part 2 - Car
As winter advice is snow based, blankets etc, now its getting warmer, carry an extra drink in the car, whether its bottle of water / juice, if your stuck in traffic - youve got a drink / if you stop you not paying "rip-off" prices

    Christmas ELement
Have a re-cap of your list, check how the budget is going, do a little list of who you need to get for, if your out and about (esp day trip) - you might find a bargain - your know who you can buy it for.

    Miss Hoodies Corner
As the weather getting warmer... time to de-gut that outside space, whether its the garage / sheds - sort and tidy, if that half tin of paint still didnt get used over the last 12 mths - is it going to get used now!!!

    Chocolate
I'm sure we all have a little soft spot for chocolate, so for a bit of fun rather than just eating the choc bar, the challenge is use it in a recipie... whether its a drink, in a cake etc - SOmething fun... Get double the pleasure, the choc and the finished item.

Again apologies its short little tasks, as usual treat it as pick and mix...
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Just to say I think the funeral will probably help you to move on, it's not only a rememberance but a celebration and after that the news will start to sink in......... that's not to say you won't grieve, of course you will.

    Thinking of you all anyway.

I have news too, but I'll wait a couple of days when my brain is in gear!!
