Finally starting to feel more like me today. Just need the energy levels to catch up a bit.
    Today is DGS 4's christening.
If I can get my car off my front as the ruddy neighbour has blocked me in again with his van.
I will be so pleased when the people turn up to do my drive!
School uniform is washing. But not a lot else has been done, except I have booked a 10 day holiday with DGD at Easter.

Well I made it and survived. But I'm home and already in bed with a cup of tea and the plan to read a little before I get some sleep.
It was a good day despite the wind and the rain. But I am shattered.

I'm going back to Portugal, Albufeira. Just DGD and myself. I thought it would be easier then somewhere I didn't know when it's just the two of us.
I would have liked to go in the summer but the price doubles and is out of my league. I'm going to see if we can drive over to France for a week in the summer to see my family, if they have room. I will have to close the shop for a week at Easter as staff is off that week, but then it won't have to close for two weeks in the summer like I did last year. ( I hope anyway).
So now I am on a mission to Mari Kondo my way through the house, and eBay anything I can to add to making it back to a cash neutral holiday like I did when we went to Tunisia in 2014
So a nice little challenge for me. It might get me making again too.

I was in bed early last night, but this wind and lashing rain woke me a few times and I had some very weird dreams.

I have 5 minutes with my cup of tea then I must get DGD up for school.
I am taking Mum clothes shopping today. She is too thin and her clothes are hanging off of her. But then I will be back to work in the shop all the rest of the week.

It sounds very much like the 'cold' I got at the beginning of the year, although the main symptoms went away, I was still feeling very wooly and lethargic with a cough.....then last week, it blooming came back again!

I tried staying in bed last Monday as I felt so ill but alas youngest's needs means that it is impossible to do so, the last week has been spent feeling like trudging through sludge whilst being hit over the head with a hammer and coughing like, well I don't know what to liken it to!

Think it may soon be time to visit the doctor as I fear the cold has now gone to my chest.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

You must visit the doctors. Even if it's to be told you don't need antibiotics.
    At least you will know.
I'm still very tired and being out and about today was trying.
My grandson had to go to hospital today, he had a cyst that was getting worse, and we were expecting him to have to stay in hospital and have surgery, but it burst and so they have finally come home with cleaning instructions etc , bless the poor wee thing. His Dad was also in the wars and although his ankle is not broken it is black and blue and swollen from slipping on the stairs early yesterday morning. He went the whole day on Pain killers while we had the christening and after party.
Scarey day for Biggest of Mooloo's today.
Mum and I had our hair cut, and bought new clothes, and Mum treated me to some new shoes from Mr Primarni.

One of the young Mums I know lost her fight against cancer last night. Her husband has been posting updates every day on Facebook as she had stem cell replacements etc. She was in intensive care this last 35/36 days. It's so sad as she leaves behind a very little girl.
It makes you realise how precious life is.
For me, I feel grateful that all I have is a virus and I am recovering. But it also made me realise that life can be very short, and that not only do you have to have dreams, you really do have to get out there and chase them! Or time will pass you by and you won't have anything to show for it.
I feel it is time for me to redouble my efforts to learn more about my on line presence for my business and to build it, to research my other goals and break them down into achievable steps so I get to where I want to go.

So what will I do today towards my future goals?
Today I will start to photograph the shop to update my website, and to price up the Remnants to sell.
Tonight I will get my Mari Kondo Book on the kindle and re-read it, and hopefully be enthused to declutter, and turn as much of that clutter into cash, for the cash neutral challenge of my Holiday.
Over the Weekend the Spare tailors dummy sold on EBay, so once the fees and PayPal fees are deducted I should have the first £60 towards my goal.
So a few more things up on EBay etc then!
Now I have had my cup of tea, it's time to get up, wake my little monster and start the fight for the school run!
    Have a good one.

Sorry to hear you had sad news Mooloo.

Not to completely change the subject but I got a sewing machine for Christmas and have taken up quilting, pretty much all I google when I want fabric is "fat quarters". Have you thought of advertising that you stock fabrics suitable for quilting? We have a remnant kings and mandors in Glasgow and their quilting stuff always seems to sell really well.

I only have a few quilting fabrics at the moment. Most of my fabrics are not suitable for quilting, they are curtain remnants, and 1960/70's fashion fabrics.
I have basic cotton and muslin and hessian. But only a bolt of each.
I'd like so sell more fat quarters but as a dressmaker that becomes an expensive way to buy fabric. The birth of fat quarters from America has pushed the price of fabrics up quite high.
20" X 18" of fabric or 50cm X 50cm are very small pieces of fabric compared to say 3 metres required for a dress.

I'm up late tonight as I have been watching back to back episodes of Call the Midwife, and tweeking my budget as I have been rather slapdash with funds lately.
